Downtown Vision

We moved to Carson City a year and wanted to establish a relationship with a full service vision office. I had an appointment with Dr. Mather. First, all of the staff were very nice. This was one of the most thorough appointments I’ve ever had. As someone who has worn hard contacts for 40+ years, to hear of what’s new in that realm that can help with comfort and sharpness of vision and understand why I’ve never been able to be fitted for a pair of glasses I could actually see out of when needed, was exciting. I’m looking forward to all the new prospects! So glad to have found this place!

My husband and I both recently saw Dr. Jonathan Mather at Downtown Vision, and we had an excellent experience. Dr. Mather was incredibly thorough, attentive, and took the time to address all of our questions and concerns. Dr. Mather is an excellent optometrist. He was very thorough and able to answer all of my questions in a knowledgeable and quick fashion. The rest of the team was super friendly and very attentive to making sure all of my needs were met. Awesome office to visit!

I've had a long standing need for prism lense prescriptions. This is the only optometrist office I've ever been to where I got the perfect prescription the first time, every time. Dr. Mather has been fantastic! Listens to my needs and concerns, and offers the beat help I've been given. The staff in general have always been a pleasure to deal with.

Great experience at Downtown Vision! Dr. Mather was wonderful, very thorough, and finally addressed my dry eye issue after years of just being told to drink more water and use some allergy drops. I would recommend Dr. Mather and Downtown Vision to anyone. I have definitely found my home for eye care.
