Receptionist is very rude. I came inside to check my daughter in for her appointment and the receptionist sat there for a minute before she decided to greet me with “can I help you” in a short unfriendly tone. I would have said hello first but she did not have a friendly look on her face. She gave me paperwork to fill out, once I was finished I went to turn it in and she was on the phone. I stepped back a bit to give her a moment, but I guess this annoyed her, she looked pretty upset and grabbed the clipboard from me. When we were called back the person who helped us was nice enough. The Dr and his assistant came into our room and not a lot of communication going on. They both seemed really annoyed. At the end of the exam the dr. wanted to dilate my daughter’s eyes to see why there was a slight change in her prescription. At the beginning of the appointment I marked no to dilating which apparently was a big deal and they seemed shocked I said no. Once I finally agreed the assistant who was responsible for putting drops in my 8 years old eyes did not give any instructions or any explanation at all. I asked if she wanted help. She said “i guess if you want to.” I walked over to help my daughter when the assistant very forcibly held my daughters eyes open which freaked her out. My daughter started to cry. The assistant yelled “do not to cry or you are doing it again.” Then she said “do not rub your eyes.” Any of this information would have been great before she decided to put the drops in. They left to let it work and while they were gone I called my husband and started complaining. They must have heard me because they came back in the room and all if a sudden the tone was more friendly and pleasant. We moved to Tulsa two years ago and went to this location about the same time last year. I had a very weird uncomfortable feeling because the staff was the exact same. No friendly faces, no customer service just an overall annoyance that you are there. I thought maybe it was just me and I gave them another chance this year when I needed to renew my daughters prescription. I felt the same way again so I will never come back!

I’ve been a patient at Dr. Long’s for over 10 years and the last couple years there have been different doctors each time I’ve been there. I was very satisfied with my eye exams and glasses up until a bad experience with the manager 2 years ago. What happened was: I had an eye exam and then paid for new glasses and frames. I picked them up and within a day they were giving me headaches and very uncomfortable on my ears so I took them back in. I spoke with the manager who had actually fitted me for the glasses (I don’t know her name but she is a Caucasian woman with short brown hair) and she was very condescending and rude. She spoke to me like I was 3 years old and repeatedly told me that my discomfort was due to a new prescription. I left and didn’t go back for 2 years. It’s a real shame to be treated like that after going there for over 10 years and sending all my family and friends there. I haven’t recommended them since this happened. I did decide to give them another chance and went in on 7/21/26 for an eye exam. There was another new Doctor who did my exam. He was polite enough but just a touch odd and seemed unsure of what he was doing. I asked for a copy of my new prescription when the exam was over once I saw that same manager was there to fit me for glasses. There was no way I was ever going to have her speak to me again. I went to LensCrafters that’s basically a mile away and got new glasses $300 cheaper than Dr. Long’s with the exact same features and they weren’t condescending or rude.

I didn't have the $60 required to leave your business with temporary contacts. I was not told before my appointment of the charge that was added to my insurance and was told I would have to take out the contact I had already put in one eye. I'm old enough to know that that $60 goes to profit. I wasted my time and your time. I drove 80 miles for nothing because I didn't have $60. Bad business. Terrible experience!

I had a wonderful experience with Dr. Heba Hammami. She is very kind, patient, and explains everything in a clear way. She made me feel comfortable during my exam, and the staff was also friendly and helpful. I truly appreciate her care and highly recommend her clinic

Dr Angi is very friendly and knowledgeable. She takes time with you and makes sure to address your concerns. I also appreciate that she remembers me as a patient ever after it has been an awhile since I had been in to see her. Thanks Dr Angi!!
