Dr John Kauffman & Associates

I ended up being referred to this office because I was requesting RGP contacts after receiving a bad fitting of soft contacts from a previous office. The doctor at the office was surprised by this but was definitely up for the challenge. Not only did he correct the issues from my previous fitting, he fit me with a pair of RGB contacts that I am extremely satisfied with. The service I received at this office was 10/10 overall. The staff were always professional and friendly. Dr. Kauffman was extremely nice, always had a story to tell and willing to go above and beyond for me. This will be the only office that I recommend to anyone that I know moving forward.

The staff here is absolutely wonderful the team is great . My eye appointment ran a little behind. The staff kept me in the loop . I did my eye exam and I would say this is the best eye care place in Hampton roads. Dr. Kauffman was great. Holly was absolutely wonderful I will definitely be here again Have been coming to this eye care for a long time and the service is exceptional and the Dr is wonderful. Dr. Kauffman is very thorough and has always considered my desires in his treatment. I have a very difficult prescription to fill in contacts and glasses. He goes the extra mile to get it right every time. His staff has always done their best to help me will all my eye care needs. I highly recommend Dr. Kauffman.

I have been seeing Dr. Kauffman for many, many years, He has always been kind, courteous and most importantly very knowledgeable and thorough. I wear glasses or contact lens. His staff throughout the years has always been personable and has always taken care of me as he has! My recent visit this month was great as usual! Although Dr. Kaufman is wonderful, the new girl who works at the counter is far from it. She is extremely rude, unfriendly and disagreeable at all times. Knows nothing about customer service. Gives me the run-around about my daughter's glasses which are late now. These glasses were ordered a week before Christmas yet she says Christmas is the delay, now it is New year's Eve and they are closed and still no glasses. In the past the staff used to be very friendly and helpful but now it is just not the same. I witness her rude behavior to another customer also while I was there. When finally I get my daughter's glasses (if ever) I will be looking for a new optometrist. looking at the recent reviews, clearly I am not the only one with this opinion about the staff. It is a shame because I always enjoyed seeing Dr Kaufman.
