I do not recommend going here, it is worth it to drive a little ways and find a different eye doctor. I have been going to eye appointments as long as I can remember and no experience has been like this one, so uncomfortable and inconvenient. There is a huge lack of communication with everyone and the patient, they are guaranteed to be running late, VERY late, and be ready to feel uncomfortable with the doctor. Especially as a young woman. The office is small, the room with the doctor is tiny, and he threw a temper when I told him I wasn’t comfortable being in there alone, I had the front desk lady come in with me on my second experience. The only reason I had to go back was to get my trial contacts. I did not go back after my appointment and went to a different place to fulfill the rest of my needs. This place is old and unkept. I came in February and the office was still decorated in Christmas with Christmas music playing… I’m going to add that the doctor WILL dilate your eyes no matter what, I was very confused and upset that he did not ask me for my consent which I believe is LEGAL to do before a doctor dilates your eyes, I wasn’t able to see clearly for a while after I left and I drove myself. If you look in the front office , you will see they give everyone those dark glasses for after your eyes get dilated, I don’t understand why he is doing this, it is not necessary. I hope this review helps and I now see many people have left reviews experiencing the same thing, I wish I looked before I went!!! 0/10

Most disturbing terrible awkward uncomfortable experience ever at a doctor office. He got mad at me just because I asked what he was putting in my eyes and instead of just telling me he suggested I just go see a doctor at the mall. He said afterwards that I shouldn’t be driving home after the drops had been applied but nobody ever explained anything about having a driver When making the appointment. I actually left crying at how bad that experience was. That doctor has actually kinda a scary creepy vibe. I recommend nobody go into that back room alone with him especially if female. The lady in the front is nice. She offered to go back with me for another try but I was already too disturbed and just wanted to get out of there asap.
Dr Baize is very thorough, professional, and hard working. It's not a good idea to rush an eye examination. Dr. Baize discovered a rare medical issue with my young family member's eye. She had to go all the way to Paris to have it treated by a specialist. Imagine if Dr. Baize didn't take the extra time and effort diagnose her eyes. He has been our eye doctor for over 20 years. He also detected glaucoma in the eyes of my other friend. She could have gone blind if she didn't get his early diagnosis. So they next time someone offers you a quick 30 minute eye examination at a big box store, are you really getting the screening you really need to prevent future health issues?
Craziest eye visit ever, and I’ve been going almost every year my whole life. The equipment is old and they dilated me before taking all my tests, making my eyes blurry and hard to focus so when I got my new glasses prescription, it was wrong. I kept telling them my eyes were blurry and had no idea I was dilated until they said something like 30-40 min later. Usually doctors tell me they’re going to dilate me and it’s at the end of the visit. The doctor made a joke about me never having gone to a proper eye doctor, but going to mall doctors. Lol this is a mall strip doctor. Anyway, I complained that my glasses were wrong, they let me pick new ones and replaced them with an old prescription I got from my previous eye doctor since my eyes haven’t changed in years prior to this appointment. I still had to pay S&H. It definitely is a small town local doctor. I don’t know if they clean between visits. Doctor is very particular, a little different, and I think the gloves he wears aren’t changed between visits (when he’s touching peoples’ eyes to dilate). More for him than patients.
Getting my glasses took me so long that my prescription isn't the same anymore. Just kidding. But yes, it's a fact that it took longer than they promised. They said 6-10 days, but it took 3 weeks. They thanked me for my patience by upgrading my glasses to "the right one that won't brittle." Does that mean if they got the glasses to me on time, I'll get the wrong one that brittles? During the check-up, I didn’t have any idea what was happening. There is a lack of instructions or information on what is for what. Nevertheless, doctor and employees are friendly.
