Dr Esperjo was a class act, explaining every little detail about my exams with gusto. Great staff. Beautiful, top notch faculty. Even got a lasik reference from him. I wanna come back just to hang out with the guy he was so nice!!!! If I could could give 6 stars I would.
I've been trying to get in contact with the office for weeks following my exam, but have not gotten a call or email back. The glasses tech that I went to fill my glasses prescription with asked me to verify with the eye doctor about my prescription because it has gone in the complete opposite direction of where my prescription was the year prior. Still no call back to confirm.... I won't be returning next year if a phone call back is too much to ask.
Took all of 10 mins to misdiagnose an astigmatism. Left me with an unwearable pair of glasses for a year. Was dismissive and brusque.
Dr Espejo was amazing. Very efficient and friendly. He explained everything he was doing in language I could easily understand and involved me in trade-off decisions for my prescriptions. He even explained some of the decisions my prior optometrist had made. Super easy to work with my insurance too. Absolutely recommend! I will be back.
I have been going to see Dr. Espejo for many years, and recently brought my son to see him. In contrast to previous visits, he recently failed during the exams to show us the retinal scans for which I paid $80, and also failed to email them to me. I went back again today to get our glasses, and asked his staff to send me the scans, and they said Dr. Espejo has to email them to me; that the staff can’t do it. His instructions were to ask the staff to do it, as we departed. Sounds like a scam, and that I need to find a new doctor.
