I had very good luck with Eagle Eye Optique. I have had a total of 4 visits with Dr. Katharine Moles; she is excellent and very thorough- I don't feel she missed anything and she answered all of my questions. I would highly recommend Dr. Moles. There is no comparison to her and the company / chain I was going to before, where I only felt like a number. Highly recommend Dr. Moles! My husband sees Dr. Patel and he has been very happy with here as well.

They were able to get me in very quickly where other offices couldn't, and I am EXTREMELY grateful for that. The check-in process was very quick and simple. The initial eye exam and picking out my lenses felt a little bit weird. My eye exam (before seeing Dr. Moles) seemed very rushed, awkward, and quiet (she may have been new / in training?). When it came to picking out my lenses - I am currently on Medicaid so the options are limited. The staff member brought out my two "boxes" to choose from, set them on the table, told me one was metal and one was plastic, and left. I'm not sure if it's because I'm on Medicaid or if that's how it goes for everybody, but it felt a bit cold / dismissive. I didn't feel comfortable asking her for help or opinions after that. I do feel that if I were making an expensive purchase, she likely would've been more attentive. I could be very wrong though, and I hope that I am. My appointment was towards the end of the day, so maybe everyone was just tired and ready to go home, which I can understand that also. As far or Dr. Katharine Moles, I can't speak highly enough. She is funny, intelligent, kind, and very thorough. I felt heard and seen by her. Her bedside manners are 110%, and I aspire to treat the patients I see in my career with the same compassion and grace that she does in hers. Overall, the bit of awkwardness / dismissiveness in the other parts of my eye exam do not take away from how I would rate the office. Again, I am very grateful to have been able to get an appointment and get a new prescription in a very short amount of time. Wonderful doctor. Good experience.
I love this doctors office a lot. They really care about their patients. They’re always smiling friendly and they are always willing to help you. My eye doctor Amanda is very nice. She’s very caring and I’ve been going to her for years and I really appreciate the care that she does for her patience. I’ll give her and her staff two thumbs up and yes, I will continually to go to them and I will recommend them to other people because they really care about their patients especially when you have a high stigmatism or needing a specialist. They do excellent work.
I always have wonderful experiences with the terrific staff here. Everyone is so kind and Dr. Moles is an exceptional optometrist.
This was my first visit, with an appointment scheduled for 8:45 AM. Due to severe weather and a 40‑minute drive, I arrived 11 minutes late and apologized upon checking in. After completing the paperwork, I was told to have a seat, but no one explained the late policy or informed me that my appointment had been moved to 9:45. The waiting room was empty when I arrived, yet two other patients who checked in after me were brought back before I was. No one communicated why this happened, and there was very little acknowledgment from the staff overall. After waiting about 30 minutes, I asked whether I was next and why others had been seen before me. The response was simply that I had been late, without any further explanation or courtesy. When I spoke with the manager, Kurt, the interaction felt similarly dismissive and without apology. Based on this experience, I did not feel the level of professionalism or communication I would expect from a medical office, and unfortunately I would not recommend this location. I would not recommend this clinic unless you are a Crown Point resident (read between the lines).
