My family have come to Encino Optometric Center for the past 15 years. The staff is welcoming, efficient, and courteous. Dr. Phoo is the best optometrist! He takes the time to listen to patients and answers questions. We definitely recommend him.
This was probably the best and most comprehensive eye check-up I’ve ever had. Dr. Phoo was simply incredible!! He took the time to explain everything in detail, listened attentively to all of my concerns, and answered every single question I had. He walked me through exactly what he was checking and why, and between his experience and the advanced equipment, it was by far the most thorough examination I’ve ever received. The front desk staff were equally outstanding: super helpful, polite, professional, and genuinely caring! I can’t recommend this practice enough. Awesome job all around!
It was my first time at this optometrist’s office, and honestly, I’ve never had an eye exam like this before. I get my eyes checked every year, but I didn’t realize an exam could be this thorough. I left feeling far more informed than I ever have after previous visits. The doctor really took the time to explain what was going on with my eyes and what I can do to take better care of them. That alone made me feel much more comfortable and confident about my eye health. The staff was also extremely nice and helpful, which made the whole experience even better from start to finish. I would definitely recommend this place if you’re looking for a very thorough, high-quality exam where you leave truly understanding what’s happening with your eyes.
