Took 3 hrs to be seen. Had an appointment. Did the vitals and told us to sit back in the waiting area and completely forgot about us until a nurse saw us and asked "you guys still here?." Once she got us in, the doctor saw us and within 5 minutes we were done. So what was the point of waiting 3 hrs when the visit lasted only for 5 minutes. Ridiculous of an existence within the community.

This review is based on my experience with my doctor and nothing else. I am not a big fan of reception, however, my doctor, Dr. Ricca, is the absolute best. I’ve had the pleasure of seeing her for a while now to help with fertility, and I must say she is truly a blessing. I could not be more thankful to her. She made such an emotional and nerve-wracking journey completely smooth and effortless. Words cannot express my gratitude. She’s professional, pays attention, and doesn’t rush you. Without her, I know I would’ve given up, but I put my trust in her, and I do not regret it, not one bit. It should speak volumes that there’s an Essen Health location three blocks from my house, but I travel an hour to see her. I’m so grateful. Mashallah Allah yerda allek 🩷
The first part of this review is about the call center. I spent a full week trying to reschedule my appointment to an earlier time and was repeatedly told I would receive a callback. That callback never came. On the day of my appointment, I was told by another location that I could just arrive at the earlier time and be seen. I’m writing this while sitting in the waiting room. When I arrived, I was simply told to sign in and have a seat. No one asked what type of appointment I had or which doctor I was scheduled to see. After waiting 30 minutes without being called, I noticed another patient arrive and get asked which doctor they were seeing. They were seeing the same doctor as me but were directed to a different waiting area. When I asked the front desk about this, the receptionist was dismissive and rude, telling me it was “no big deal” because there was still one person ahead of me. I then moved to the correct area but now have an additional 30+ minute wait. Overall, this experience has been disorganized and frustrating. Completely unacceptable.
This place is the worst. Waiting an hour and a half and still no Dr. This place is a shitty clinic. And the people working there are not very helpful or nice. They are very rude to you. Not caring at all. And it is two hours till the doctor. Going to the dr should not be stressful. Get a new set of workers. Worst experience
Dr. Abaya and Dr. Souley Dounda are very nice, also the nurse of Dr. Souley Dounda. But JelMary, the front desk gave the extra mile to help me, the other front desk was not accommodating, when Jelmary saw me, she took time to assist me. She is an asset to the company.
