Stopped by Eye Candy Optical in Miami Lakes to get new glasses and had an awesome experience. Jessica and Amy were amazing, super helpful walking me through all the options and helping me pick the perfect pair. Even better, I was in and out in less than 15 minutes. Excellent service all around. Highly recommend!

I came in today to get my eyeglasses done at this new place called Ice Pair and Candy, and I absolutely loved it. The place is so cute—it even has candy inside, which makes it feel fun and welcoming. Miss Jessica and Miss Annette, the two ladies at the front, were incredibly friendly and kind. Even when I came in a little excited and asked right away if I could go first, they handled everything with such patience and a smile. Dr. Hernandez is a true professional. He was very kind, attentive, and really listened to all my needs. I especially appreciated that he helped me use one of my own frames instead of having to buy a new one—that meant a lot to me. I truly value being treated with care and kindness, especially when it comes to my health. It makes such a difference when people greet you with a smile. Thank you so much for such a wonderful experience. I highly recommend this place—I give them 5 stars! namaste 🇩🇴🇩🇴🇩🇴🇩🇴🇩🇴🇩🇴🇩🇴🇩🇴🇩🇴🇩🇴🇩🇴🇩🇴🇩🇴🇩🇴🇩🇴🇩🇴🇩🇴🇩🇴
Went to my eye appointment at Eye Candy in the Miami Lakes location, it was a real pleasure. I was treated very nice, the girls up front were fantastic! The Doctor was very informative and explained everything about my eyes, very happy and definitely would highly recommend this office to anyone needing their eyes checked out!
I’m extremely disappointed with my experience at this office. I called ahead specifically asking about ordering contact lenses and clearly explained that I was NOT an existing patient. The first employee I spoke to had absolutely no issue with it and even provided pricing information, making it seem like ordering would not be a problem and even encouraged me to fin better pricing online so they can price match it. When I called back, I spoke with someone named Yesenia (i think that's her name), and the entire tone completely changed. She abruptly told me they “don’t sell contacts” unless you’re a patient there which directly contradicted what I had already been told. Instead of trying to clarify the confusion professionally, she was rude, dismissive, and acted as though I was inconveniencing her for simply asking questions about THEIR policies. What made the situation even worse was when I asked to speak to a manager. I was told no manager was available without even checking, which felt incredibly convenient considering the situation. I asked her for her name again and she refused. I asked her for her name two more times and she avoided the question by saying they don't sell contacts; that contacts are ordered online and not stocked in office. Obviously they are not stocked in office but ordering contacts and selling them to clients (patients or not) is normal business practice. The first employee I spoke to even asked and wanted me to confirm that the script was valid and not expired since she didn't find me in the system. The second I mentioned leaving a review, her attitude suddenly shifted and she became noticeably nervous, which honestly says a lot. This employee is a liability and hurting this business. She is the classic, "Give someone a clipboard and suddenly they think they run the world". If your office policies are strict, that’s one thing, but giving customers conflicting information and then treating them rudely when they try to clarify it is completely unacceptable. Customer service and professionalism clearly need serious improvement here. I would not recommend dealing with this office if you expect clear communication or respectful treatment. There's was a chance at one point I would've become a patient of this office, I would've purchased the contacts, had a great experience and would've came back when it was time to get a new exam. The only reason I am trying to purchase contacts is because my old provider doesn't accept my insurance anymore forcing me to look elsewhere. Awful business, and definitely not worth supporting.
This is the place to go for all your eye care and glasses needs. The staff were kind, helpful and accommodating. Dr. Rozada was really knowledgeable and answered all of my questions and concerns. She is the best. The staff even helped me pick out new pairs and reading glasses and sunglasses. I highly recommend Eye Candy Eyewear & Infinite Vision Eyecare!
