I came to Cave Creek for a work trip and retreat, and realized when I was boarding the plane that I forgot my daily contacts. I reached out to Eye Care North and was immediately impressed with the prompt reply. They were able to get me a sample pack that I could pick up the same day. Thank you so much for saving my trip!! Wearing glasses while exploring the desert was not on my wish list whatsoever, and now I can enjoy my time because of the wonderful and kind staff!

⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Dr. Rhodes is an absolute rockstar in her field. She is incredibly knowledgeable, thorough, and kind. As an adult dealing with the return of my Binocular Vision Dysfunction (BVD) from childhood, I knew I wanted the best specialist I could find, and I honestly believe I found exactly that. Dr. Rhodes took the time to listen, explain everything clearly, and made me feel confident that I was in the right hands. The entire team at Eye Care North was friendly, professional, and welcoming from start to finish. If you’re struggling with BVD or any complex vision issues, I can’t recommend Dr. Rhodes and Eye Care North highly enough. They exceeded my expectations in every way.

This might be a good place for you if all you need is a prism prescription and you have a lot of money to spend. We had to pay $600 for the first visit, which is fine, (overall cost of glasses and visit ended up being over 1,000 though, just beware) and the second visit our lenses were free, but we still had to pay 500$ for the Drs time... That second visit for prism will almost always be needed, and most eye centers heavily discount it because of that. But 100$ off isn't that great of a deal. Also, they will not diagnose any eye problems, they don't test anything neurological, and they just find your prescription. No problems with their care, very nice and friendly, and the Dr is nice, just the price and the fact that all the do was find my potential prism prescription was my issue. Went to another place just to find out I have sculiosis and a head tilt which is causing my BVD, so if you want to find the reason for your BVD, don't go to Eye Care North.

Dr. Rhodes is an exceptional eye doctor. She is incredibly knowledgeable, patient, and thorough, and she truly takes the time to listen and explain everything clearly. Her attention to detail and genuine care make every visit comfortable and reassuring. You never feel rushed, and you can tell she truly wants the best for her patients’ eye health. I’m so grateful to be under her care and highly recommend Dr. Rhodes to anyone looking for an outstanding eye doctor.

I have struggled with focus issues and double vision for several years. And several failed attempts at correction with prisms. Alas I found almost immediate relief with Dr. Rhodes’ expertise in the area of prisms. It’s a niche discipline and she has the equipment many other ophthalmologists and optometrists don’t possess. And the correction is done using a crazy headgear supporting the corrective lenses and prisms in real time before the prescription is sent out. I am over the moon grateful!
