I LOVED my experience at Eye Care One from beginning to end. As I opened the door, friendly smiles greeted you...every employee that I met was professional with patient's concerns put 1st. The office was cheerfully decorated for the 4Th of July weekend. Service was quick and very efficient/professional and compassionate I have a small bridge and glasses have never fit correctly or comfortable. They have a very wide selection of glasses that fit the "small bridge"fit. My new glassed fit unbelievaby better than any other pairt thatI I have owned. Sunglasses fit awesomely too. I am very comfortable on my decision to go to Eye Care One.

I came in for a quick visit and worked with Mike. Seemed like a nice guy but very intrusive, once he found where I was from( Muskegon Heights). He told me a few different stories that related to black ppl. One that stuck out is when he went to a restaurant, the chicken coop and called someone "the N word" because they called him a "hunk" or something like that. Unbelievable to actually repeat. He also asked me if I got state assistance for some reason. Which I don't. Very weird thing to ask. Then lastly, he told me my total was $135, didn't go over what I had or what I was getting. I immediately say no, let's go for something cheaper, then somehow the price went from $135 to $37. Funny. Very uncomfortable encounter, he seemed nice but the micro aggressions were clearly in the room. Very terrible way to treat someone the first time coming there. Something's should not be discussed in the workplace. Very unprofessional. I'll probably never visit this place again. Everyone else was nice though.
Third year going, first year not happy, staff was different, the doctor herself was lovely but the desk staff were not very nice, they also have charges they don't disclose, my insurance has always covered everything and this year they took a picture of my eye but didn't mention insurance not covering it until the very end and even said she knows most insurances don't cover it. It just felt less welcoming, I don't know where the eye guy went but I did not have a good experience and don't plan on going back.i even tried talking to the lady about it but it was very obvious she didn't care.
Wow! I have never experienced a situation like my wife experienced on February 27. One of their employees belittled her so badly In front of many other customers and employees. I am embarrassed for this place and my wife deserves an apology. Please give her a call!
I took my son here as a first time patient. I am so glad Eye care one was recommended to us. Their service from start to finish was phenomenal! My son was treated with respect and everyone was so kind and helpful. Mike even helped him pick out stylish glasses that fit his face perfectly. 10/10
