Eye Center South – Marianna

Nice, friendly people! We were traveling through Marianna when my husband had an eye issue. I called them, they fit us right in and provided excellent care. Within 30 minutes we were back on the road again and his eye felt alot better.

I had an absolutely wonderful experience with Robbie and Lexi at Vision Center South. These two truly go above and beyond for their patients and deserve to be recognized for the outstanding care and professionalism they provide every single day. From the moment I walked in, they were welcoming, kind, patient, and incredibly attentive. Robbie and Lexi both took the time to make sure everything was explained clearly, answered every question I had, and made the entire experience smooth and stress-free. It’s rare to find people who genuinely care about others the way they do. Their teamwork, positive attitudes, and dedication to excellent customer service did not go unnoticed. They made me feel valued, comfortable, and appreciated as a patient. Employees like Robbie and Lexi are the reason people continue coming back and recommending this office to others. They deserve recognition and should absolutely be awarded for the exceptional job they do. Thank you both for your hard work, compassion, and commitment to excellence!

I called the office because I had an eye emergency and Lexie was amazing. She was so helpful and got me right in. When I arrived Ms Marisela who took me and the back and did some initial tests on me was amazing. Marisela was gentle, kind, funny, helpful, and personable. Marisela was like an angel in my eye crisis. Dr. Wahlquist was very fast and efficient. He diagnosed me and had my medication for my corneal ulcer prescribed in minutes. Amazing people all around! If you have any eye issues, have an eye emergency, or just need contacts or glasses come to Vision Center South!!!

This is the worst experience I have had with an optometrist. I visited a month ago and got my eye exam. The doctor (Hyrum Wahlquist) had me waiting for 20 mins and the visit was barely 10 minutes, they rushed as much as possible like they wanted to get rid of me as fast as possible. I had a very specific question about my eye sight and they did not answer it. Specifically, I wanted to know if I could keep wearing my daily contact lenses that I am comfortable with in water sports with some correction in my mask for seeing better close. Not only did they not respond, they seemed annoyed by my question. The worst part is that after my eye exam I logged in to get my prescription from the patient portal. This is a horrible patient portal but I printed everything it had and it did not include my prescription! I had to go back to get my prescription printed. When I told them my prescription was not in the portal, not only did they not apologize and did they not sympathize, but they said they were not responsible for it. I hope this review will help other people to stay away from this horrendous service and people.

Averie was absolutely amazing and so sweet. I ordered some prescribed sunglasses and they were crooked she fixed them right away and they fit perfect! Of course all the other staff were amazing.
