Doctor Desmond Carl is great — knowledgeable, friendly and professional. Unfortunately, the experience is completely undermined by his staff. The office staff was unprofessional, condescending, and at times downright hostile. I called multiple times over a two week period needing follow-up about ordering contacts and was never called back. When I did manage to speak with someone, I couldn’t get a straight answer, and the tone was dismissive and unpleasant, as if my questions were an inconvenience. It’s disappointing because the doctors deserve better representation. However, patient care doesn’t stop in the exam room, and the lack of basic communication and courtesy from the staff made this an incredibly frustrating experience. I would not return unless there are major changes in how the office is run.

What a great experience! Dr. Desmond Carl is professional, meticulous and efficient as well as very personable. The staff is too. I was able to get an appointment in short order, my glasses were ready sooner than expected and a perfect fit. I highly recommend this business!
