I switched optometrists and decided to give Costco’s The Village Optometry a try—and I’m so glad I did! I went in for an eye exam and decided to try contacts instead of my usual progressive glasses. Honestly, it’s been life-changing! The customer service has been fantastic. Everyone is friendly, patient, and super helpful. Dr. Sanati and Dr. Young are both great—they took the time to explain my prescription, gave me samples to try, and even adjusted the reading prescription after I’d used them for a week and realized I needed a little more help up close. I’m really happy with the experience and highly recommend them!
My daughter made an appointment for lenses and contacts with doctor Sanati at 10:45am. One hour 1/2 later we are being charged extra $70 for the contacts she was not explained how to even put in. She was thrown to a desk in the back of the office while the Dr came out to the waiting area where I was, showing the staff pictures of her adopted furry dog. My daughter came for me 35 mins later completely frustrated as she was left alone without guidance. They wouldn’t give her the prescription so I had to intervene. Payed the corresponding $100 for the glasses exam and had to put up with a dismissive dr who walked out after stating she went “above and beyond”. They are expensive, don’t take eye med insurance and won’t take responsibility for their poor service. I won’t suggest you come to the optometrist at Costco Woodland Hills unfortunately. Maybe other locations have honest doctors? Love Costco, what a shame we had this experience.
I had an excellent experience getting my contact lenses from this office. From the moment I arrived, everyone was friendly, professional, and genuinely helpful. Jasmine, Aniela, and Alva were all wonderful to work with—they were welcoming, attentive, and made the entire process easy and comfortable. They took the time to answer my questions and made sure I felt well informed every step of the way.Dr. Young was knowledgeable and efficient during my exam.I appreciated the straightforward and professional care.
Dr Young was great. He was friendly and approachable, he was clearly knowledgeable and spent time explaining. I would definitely recommend him.
