The staff here is so wonderful and friendly. From the girls at the front desk all the way to Dr. Frankel. I’ve only had good experiences and I have been coming here for years. I wouldn’t trust any other office. I highly recommend. They genuinely care about your experience and your health! So pleased with this office!

I cannot recommend Dr. Barry Frankel highly enough. From the moment you sit with him, you are met with a doctor who is profoundly kind and genuinely present. When Dr. Frankel speaks with you, he looks at you with intention, empathy, and a welcoming warmth that immediately puts you at ease. He is a phenomenal listener who takes the time to converse with you and never makes you feel rushed. Dr. Frankel’s dedication to his patients is unmatched. If you are experiencing an issue, he shows the most determined drive to solve it that I have ever seen in a medical professional. He tackles problems with a relentless perseverance, refusing to settle for 'good enough' until he finds the absolute best solution for your eye health. It is a rare gift to find an optometrist, or any doctor really, with such a comforting bedside manner who will also fight that hard to resolve your problems. He is simply outstanding, both him and his exceedingly wonderful staff.
Last year, I was recovering after a year and a half of a very serious eye infection that resulted in extremely reduced vision in one eye. I was expecting to need surgery to restore my vision. Dr Frankel was amazing and suggested a combination of contacts and glasses as an alternative. I'm so grateful and appreciate everyone in the office.
Quick update, June 2024. Eyeglass frames were damaged and (EXACTLY as advertised) Christian - lab technician - reset the lenses - under warranty - in a second identical frameset which he set aside (there were 10 days between problem and my getting to Florida). Scheduled a checkup too. Arrived as scheduled and in and out in no time. Shout outs to Christian (frame setter), front desk staff - Lily and Dalys, and the brilliant and pleasant Dr Rotz who did my exam today. Top to bottom, smooth, efficient, honest. One feels in good hands. Just came from my appointment with Dr Soldinger - excellent care!! Recommended by my opthamologist (not a simple prescription) and Dr S and the whole staff were fantastic. For a new patient, appreciated even more. Great shop.
I made an appt at 4 because of possible pink eye, I sat waiting for the doctor to come see me for a hour and a half. She looked at my eye then started doing the prescription and logging my stuff but had no clue what she was talking about. She had to call someone to help me, she stated “I wasn’t fully trained.” When she was sitting right beside me, she was touching my eye then said she wasn’t trained. That’s insane!!! She told me not to wear my contacts but I had to drive home she said “you can’t see with one eye?” No lady I can’t I wear contacts for a reason. I didn’t leave there until 5:50 even thought I arrived at 3:50. When checking out they kept asking me to schedule another appt and to comeback in 2 days, I said I won’t be coming back at all. This was one of the worst experiences I have had at an eye doctor. I don’t recommend going there, and if you do make an appt show up 30 minutes late because how awful the wait is.
