Dr. Autumn Jackson is an exceptional eye doctor! From the moment I walked in, she was incredibly professional, attentive, and genuinely caring. She took the time to thoroughly explain everything during my exam and made sure I felt comfortable and informed every step of the way. What really stood out is how knowledgeable and precise she is, she clearly knows her field inside and out. She was thoughtful in her approach, answered all of my questions with patience, and made the entire experience seamless. It’s rare to find a doctor who combines such expertise with such a warm and caring demeanor. I left feeling confident in my care and very grateful to have found her. I would highly recommend Dr. Jackson to anyone looking for an outstanding eye doctor.

I had a Laser Peripheral Iridotomy (LPI) performed by Dr. Alex Gerber at Eye Health Vision Centers in Middletown, RI, and I'm writing this so others can make a more informed decision than I was allowed to. Prior to my procedure, no risks were disclosed to me. I was given no understanding that permanent visual side effects were possible. LPI carries documented risks — including prismatic and dysphotopic visual disturbances — and I now live with one of those complications permanently. Had I been properly informed, I would have had the opportunity to weigh that for myself. I was not given that opportunity. When I returned to Dr. Gerber to report this complication, he dismissed my concerns without meaningful examination, argued with me, and told me it would "go away." It has not gone away. I subsequently sought second and third opinions from other eye care professionals. Both confirmed the complication is real, that it is a known and documented risk of the LPI procedure, and that my prognosis for full resolution is poor. In my opinion, the informed consent process at this practice fell well below what any patient should expect before an elective procedure. And Dr. Gerber's response when I raised concerns — dismissive, argumentative, and incurious — reflected a troubling unwillingness to engage honestly with his own patient. I can only speak to my personal experience. But based on that experience, I cannot recommend Dr. Gerber or Eye Health Vision Centers to anyone.

The staff was incredibly friendly, check-in with Megan was quick and easy, Kyleigh took the time to explain everything clearly, and Dr. Jackson was thorough and helped me choose the best option to correct my vision. The front office staff, Dr. Jackson and Jill in the frames and lenses area was amazing. This is my first time needing glasses and everyone was so helpful and kind. Service was also super quick!
