It baffles me that this place has such high reviews. Probably because as salesmen they put on a nice smile, but this place is all about profits and doesn't care at all about your health. This is the first business I have ever felt compelled to review online, but I am doing so to warn others to STAY AWAY! Please avoid if you care about your eye health and well-being -- the glasses I got here led me to have unexplained fatigue and eye strain that caused me to do a whole run-around consulting other doctors until I realized the problem began once I started wearing the glasses I purchased here. Miraculously, my fatigue and headaches then all cleared up as soon as I found another optometrist who helped me get new glasses and explained to me what was wrong with the glasses I got from eye&i. But when I came back to eye&i with this information, they refused to redo the lenses that they made incorrectly due to their own negligence and told me I would have to buy a whole new pair of more expensive lenses than the initial ones (due to the prices having since increased), when they are the ones who made the lenses incorrectly in the first place and I was asking that they re-do the exact same prescription, but correctly this time. They didn't even bother to have a conversation with me about what was wrong with my glasses, just told me I have to pay for a new, even more expensive pair if I want them "fixed." That's what I call SCAMMER behavior. I have been seeing optometrists and wearing glasses daily for decades and never had such a poor experience with an optometrist or a glasses store. Both the glasses I got prior to and after the ones I got here were the same prescription, and none of those other glasses gave me the issues I had from the ones made at eye&i. Disappointing, because I wanted to support a Korean local business. But please, if you need glasses or an eye exam, take your money elsewhere.

I was sold glasses that cost over $400 because of my high prescription and were incorrectly made. When I returned to have them fixed, I was told to pay the full price of $425 to get a new pair. Ridiculous and unethical business practice. Anybody who genuinely cares about their eye health and wellbeing should avoid this place at all cost. They are also reporting negative reviews and having important customer feedback removed. Please do not trust this brand.

eye&i provides exceptionally kind and attentive care. Patients can receive eye exams and eyewear consultations in both Korean and English, making communication easy and comfortable. For those who have not yet chosen an eye clinic, I highly recommend a visit.

The physicians were extremely professional with my examinations. Dr. Kevin Leung is very knowledgeable. However, when a prior authorization was needed, it wasn’t dealt with correctly and not in a timely manner. Even though I had dealt directly with the insurance company, they still needed paperwork from the Doctor. Many times, Doctors must request a prior authorization. The office staff seemed to Discard the urgency of my medication needs. Ultimately, the physicians’ staff contacted The Incorrect insurance company. I found this unbelievable and upsetting. I believe that Eye & I is a company that did not feel obligated to assure me of my necessary medication. I feel extremely uncomfortable with the way that I was treated. In addition, the office staff - Esther, was extremely rude, curt , abrupt, and unprofessional. She was Very Nasty. I believe they did not want my business because I am Black American. She should not be allowed to deal with customers. I will put in further complaints with New York State. No one should have to deal with this unprofessional behavior. I would not refer this ophthalmologist to Anyone.

The eye doctor was amazing—knowledgeable, patient, and took the time to answer all of my questions. I felt like I was in great hands, and the level of care I received was outstanding. They had state-of-the-art equipment and used the latest technology to ensure my eye health was thoroughly assessed. What really stood out to me was how the team made sure I understood my options and helped me make informed decisions about my eye care. They went above and beyond to make sure I was satisfied with my visit. The entire experience, from check-in to check-out, was smooth and efficient. If you’re looking for top-notch eye care with a fantastic, professional team, I highly recommend this office!
