Dr. Mary E. Hood is phenomenal! 10/10 would recommend. She made sure I understood what was happening at all points and clearly explained everything. I really felt like she cared about my vision needs. I will be coming back for my next eye exam for sure! So much better after my terrible experience at a different establishment. Eye Works for the win!!

This was my first real eye exam and it was a very pleasant experience. Dr. Hood was great, she was very nice and explained everything to me as she gave me my eye exam. Her staff was also really accommodating, I plan on returning and definitely recommend Eye Works.

This is my first time ever leaving a review but I feel it is well deserved. This place was an absolute pleasure. First visit, but definitely not the last. Short wait time, attentive, friendly staff. Dr Hood was very informative and made me feel comfortable as if I have been a client for years. Huge thanks to Naomi for being so extremely helpful in choosing the best frames for me. And also for not being bothered by the time it took for me to make that decision. I was shown many options and other staff members helped as well with their honest opinions for what looked good or not. Great experience. Definitely recommend. 5☆

Good eye exam fro Dr. Hood. She took her time with my daughter and the eye exam was very thorough. My biggest complaint is with the staff. After the exam we walked to the front and her assistant asked me what insurance we had while she was with another customer, I told her and she replied and pointed to a section of the glasses "these are the ones covered by your insurance" . My daughter looked at the wall of glasses and found a pair. The assistant took her measurements and then I walked up to the receptionist and asked what my payment was. The assistant interjected with " don't you have medicaid"? (Nothing wrong with medicaid) I replied with " No I do not" and the receptionist said no she doesn't she has regular eye insurance. First, who yells out a question like that with a waiting room full of people. Second, did she assume that we had mediciad and thats why we had such a limited amount of glasses to choose from? Great Dr. but her office staff need a to be a little more professional. I paid my balance and left.

I am not a patient but my 81 mother in law is. My mother in law received a call at work from Eye Works to notify her that she was due for her free set of glasses and that they had a new contract with People's Health. Long story short the visit cost her $314.00, she's 81 on a limited income. She called the next morning to cancel the glasses and was told that wasn't possible, that her insurance agent didn't know what they were talking about, that they don't have a $200.00 allowance. This place is a trap and should be ashamed of themselves taking advantage of people.
