I guess I am a glutton for punishment. I took my prescription from another eye Dr here and I am now trying to cancel the 2nd order of glasses. 2 pairs of glasses $768 and they had the audacity to bill me $365 more dollars. For what? You can't talk to the office as they outsource their billing and they dint understand half of what you're talking about. I will never refer anyone here ever and I will make sure everyone knows . Oh and if you return glasses during their grace period they also charge you a restocking fee of $40 i just want my issue resolved

I had my first appointment on Tuesday April 21st, 2026. When I walked in I was greeted. They went over my information and insurance. I sat down in the waiting room and was greeted by the Tech. The tech was very nice, attentive and very informative. I also had my son (5 months) and while being in the exam room she made sure my son was good and distracted him. The doctor i had was Dr. Mehta. She was super sweet, she was very informative of my eyes and honest. Leah who assisted either my forever frames was nice, she made sure what I wanted and helped me pick what looked best on me. Thank you so much for a wonderful experience and I HIGHLY recommend this place! Thank you Dr. Mehta and Staff!
I came in for my yearly eye exam about a month ago and had a great experience. The front desk staff were extremely nice, and Erick was super friendly and very helpful, he checked me in with ease. All of the technicians were very kind as well. I would highly recommend Eyemed to anyone in Kernersville who needs an eye specialist. I was in and out with no problems. They have a well-trained staff and a great variety of lenses.
Went to my appointment and sat in the waiting room for 30 mins before being brought back just to hear “you don’t have anything you have to get back to quickly do you?” As if the normal working folks don’t have a job and a set time for lunch. I explained I did have to be back in about 20-30 minutes and the nurse stated that wouldn’t work because I was supposed to be seeing a virtual doctor for an eye exam (not sure how that is supposed to work..) and they take extra long. I rescheduled and came back in this morning (3/25/26) so be met with the most inhospitable people. The nurse who brought me back and started my appointment seemed like she wanted to be anywhere but helping me and made me feel like I was a burden to her day. When I was brought to see the actual doctor we talked about contacts which were not a good fit which is completely okay and I understand. What was NOT okay was the condescending tone in which she spoke to me regarding my glasses and eye health as if I, a grown adult, were a child. We were talking about if I wore my lenses all day to which I explained I do not because I prefer to take them off at home as I find them annoying sometimes and prefer not to wear them. She looked at me like I was stupid and said “you have to wear your glasses and just get used to them”…I’ve been wearing glasses for 3+ years. I am plenty used to them and once again, a grown adult who did not take kindly to being “fussed” at and told I “have” to wear my glasses in my own home. It was not a pleasant experience and I will NOT be coming back nor will I refer anyone here.
Dr Rex Freeman provided a smooth and easy exam appointment. He was very professional and thorough in his exam. He answered all my questions. I never felt rushed. I highly recommend him for your eye care needs.
