I needed a form for the DMV (not Michigan) for license renewal so scheduled an eye exam. When I arrived, one employee on the phone, the other said may I help you. Yes, gave her my name, said I had an appointment at 1000 and that I would need this form filled out, please, and was handing her the form I brought. The other employee, on the phone, interrupted her colleague who was responding to me with, “those forms are in the bottom drawer”. I tried multiple times to say, no, I need this form, but she continued to interrupt both me and her colleague who I was attempting to speak with. I then interrupted her, and spoke over her, no, I don’t need a Michigan form, it’s for another state. Despite still being on the phone (was she on hold?) she took the form, said, well I don’t know if the doctor can fill this out. Went back to the doctor I assume, came back and said, the doctor can but won’t because of your attitude. I was surprised, since the only attitude was this incredibly rude employee who doesn’t let the customers speak but took my form and left, amused, and quite pleased I didn’t give this business any money. Looked online quickly, made appointment for America’s Best down the street. They got me in, only $69 for an eye exam, even better $95 for eye exam and two pairs of glasses, so I have two new pairs of reading glasses. Everyone there, from front desk staff, to optician to the doctor had very friendly “attitudes”. Just go to America’s Best.

I had the best experience here.Great service and explained everything to me.I had a problem finding my insurance but the girls helped with that.I would highly recommend.I will be referring anyone here.The ladies are fast and do the best they can.I was there for a few hrs looking for the right glasses.Their prices are way lower then all the others places around here and they seem to actually care.Not to mention the sales they have going on.I see some of these bad reviews on here,but I figured I would try myself and see how it went.Im glad I disregarded those few bad reviews.It didn’t even make sense that if you had a bad experience,why would you try to come back? Glad I tried this place out myself and definitely had a great experience for myself and kids.

The staff is very friendly and helpful. My complaint is that when I said I was ordering certain lenses so I wouldn't have to wait 2 weeks to get my glasses, they told me they had the other ones in stock too so there wouldn't be a wait on them either. Then, after everything is done and paid for they told me the machine was down and it would be 7 to 10 days for both pairs. So why tell me the lenses are in stock if the machine is down and it's a 7 to 10 day wait regardless?

I was so happy with my overall experience here! Dr. Valella, Tia and Sandra and everyone else! I cannot say enough good! They are busy, so there's usually a wait, but its reasonable! They are fantastic! ❤️❤️❤️

Dr. Valela was awsome a usual, Donna and Tia rocked too. My only and MAJOR complaint was that when I went into the store 11 days earlier to check frames and prices b4 making an appointment that the clerk did NOT know her stuff! I was quoted a price for exam and 2 complete sets of glasses. Yesterday, as I sat down to order the exact glasses I'd gotten a quote for...it was OVER $200 more!!! I was blindsided! Id already had and paid 4 my exam, so what was I to do??? I went there specifically 4 the frames I got. Definitely a learning experience. A VERY, VERY expensive experience! If you find yourself getting a quote here, make sure special lenses arent necessary 4 the frames, some frames are only single vision at the marked price, and the 2 for special prices...you CAN NOT just pay the difference in frame price. Although that was what I was quoted. The clerk did not know the correct info. Disappointing and expensive. My $239 out the door quote ended up almost $450 before I was given a first time customer coupon. Thank you 4 that.
