I been going to Dr Smith for years. He's so nice and friendly . And and. Very helpful. He also makes sure your glasses fit and what you want on style .

I was a walk-in over lunch time when all the other local optometrists were closed and down at the local pub goofing off and playing hooky. He took me in and got me examined and sorted out very efficiently and professionally and he was very helpful. It’s obvious that eyeballs are ‘old hat’ for Dr. Smith—I felt he knew what he was doing. He’s one of these people who know their field well and just sits down and does his job competently so I, as the customer/patient, can just relax and not worry about being blinded (or misdiagnosed or sold ridiculous eyeball gadgets that don’t work, like nanoprobes that operate by WiFi and help you see through walls and clothing and stuff). His front desk staff, Delores was very friendly and warm as well. She’s from Olympia Washington too so she pushed my review star rating up by .375 and clinched the 5 star rating for the office and probably deserves another raise or at least a lunch coupon from Arby’s or a foot rub or something else just as cool. Seriously though, I appreciate a place of business that is open during normal business hours during the week and people who are skilled and well versed in their trade and are professionals and that’s why I took 20 minutes of my time to write and post this review even though it’s past curfew and the prison guards frown on me having a cell phone in here. I’ll risk time in solitary for a good optometrist!

No long wait to be seen. Very confident with his determinations and recommendations. As an example, he is not afraid to tell you that the frames you picked out just don't really go with the shape of your head. I have gone to him for many years.

If i could give zero stars i would i called to see if he would see me because I'm getting headaches and ending to get a prescription for my contacts because my old one was over a year old and HE SAID I NO IM GOOD I AM GONNA PASS ON THAT CALL THESE OFFICES AND HUNG UP ON ME

I would suggest Smith before any other eye doctor in McAlester. Not only was my visit professional, it was informative. I'll happily be taking my business here from now on.
