Karen Whitmore is a very manipulative person! I had one bad experience with her my gut feeling told me don’t go back there again and I have not thank goodness I found a better doctor
They got me in promptly. Very professional and did blood draw insight. I appreciate the sliding fee since I don't have insurance since it costs so much.
They sold out some of their patients wellbeing as I see it. I was seeing them to try to get life saving treatment. After spending money, a few weeks later I received a call from them telling me they no longer treat the problem because they got a financial offer that requires them to exclude treating patients with it. I don't feel as bad for myself as I do other patients because I got the help elsewhere; but I cannot imagine the great suffering caused to patients who were basically let go mid-treatment. Essentially saying "Hey! We are going to stop life saving treatment for you over money we were offered; But hey! Come back to us (the people who canned you) for therapy!!! Aren't we such a good practice!" ᕕ( ᐛ )ᕗ I will never forgive family healthcare for this. The doctors were alright and a few were great! It is mostly a complaint about the companies priorities.
Karen Whittemore is a compassionate, upbeat, kind, friendly and knowledgeable professional all rolled into one person. I have a very complicated medical history and she took the time to interactively listen to me on every topic by asking questions and acknowledging my concerns. This was the first time in a long time that a medical doctor/nurse has actually SEEN me, all of me, and not just the records that go along with me. Thank you so much for everything. I'm truly grateful for you!
I was receiving life saving care from this place, and they decided money was more important. Worship the almighty dollar and refuse care for one of the most marginalized communities in the country. Love it when discrimination isnt a deal breaker. I hope every single patient finds somewhere that actually cares about them. :)
