As someone new to the neighborhood, I was so happy that I didn't have to drive to another city to receive excellent eye care. Dr. Patrick Holden and his staff are incredibly kind, caring, patient, and attentive. They made me feel comfortable from the moment I walked in, and I couldn't be happier with my experience. I received my new prescription today, and I'll definitely be coming back to order my new glasses here. They also have a beautiful optical boutique inside the clinic with a wonderful selection of stylish frames. I already know I'm going to enjoy choosing my next pair! We had a great experience at Family Optometric Group on Fifth Street. The entire staff was welcoming and patient, which made a big difference bringing in my young son. The doctor was outstanding. He took the time to explain everything clearly and in a way we could actually understand, without rushing. He was thorough, thoughtful, and very reassuring throughout the exam. He also confirmed my son’s color blindness and walked us through exactly what that means and what steps we can take moving forward. You can tell they genuinely care about their patients and take pride in what they do. Highly recommend, especially for parents looking for a place that handles kids with patience and professionalism.

I have been a patient at Family Optometrist for over 30 years. The late Dr. Holden was a compassionate and dedicated optometrist who cared for my eyes and referred me for my cataract surgery. Dr. Knapp also provided excellent care to my late husband and continues to offer outstanding service. The clinic is clean, close to home, and the staff are always friendly and helpful. I came to Family Optometrist as a new patient with Dr. Jack Holden this morning and found that I needed to fill out my Intake Form there on paper after having done so on my laptop yesterday. Apparently when I hit the green SUBMIT DATA button, the data was declined. Office Personnel were understanding and supportive. Samantha ran tests and, like everyone at Family Optometrics, were kind and responsive to my needs, making the visit smooth, efficient and thorough. 🥰
