Fong Eyecare Center

I love Fong Vision Center for my eye care. They are courteous, professional, and caring. They use the latest technology to check my eyes, which is essential since my eyes have started to develop macular degeneration. They recommend supplements that help my eyes. They attend vision care conventions and are updated on the latest procedures and technologies. Plus, they have cool-looking discounted frames! They also have a deal where I can get a second set of glasses with different frames. I cannot remember if I get them for free or if I have to pay for them (it may be an insurance benefit), but if I have to pay, the cost is nominal, otherwise I would not do it! Best of all, the people at Fong Vision Center are very courteous and professional, even the people who are at the front desk and who schedule appointments! I love it there, and highly recommend it to everyone. In addition, their office is close to downtown and Ward Center, and they have free parking, so it is very convenient.

I have been a member of the Fong Vision Center for over 20 years. They have given me the eye care I needed. I am diabetic and they done a great job caring for my degeneration of eyes nerves. I've been visiting this office for several years now and am very pleased with the thoroughness of my eye exams. Dr. Fong also takes the time to explain, in detail, the results. Fortunately, I have great vision and Dr. Fong gave me some pointers for what I can do to help keep it that way.

I have been going to the Fong family for my vision care since the late 70's.(started with Lenard K.) Always had the best possible service and the most up to date equipment and procedures. I started with Fong Vision Center as a high school kid, and now I am looking forward to retiring with them as my only eye care provider.

Dr. Rodney always does a thorough job with my checkup and explains any changes to me. On my last visit he went above and beyond to make some phone calls/research to determine if the “transitions” type lenses are O.K. to put on ANSI rated safety glasses. It turns out that the transitions lenses are suitable for safety glasses, even though both my employer and another lens crafter both mistakenly told me that they were not. With this information I was able to get my employer (a Federal agency) to change their long standing policy so that they now authorize transition lenses on safety glasses for all of their employees.
