Frantz Eye Care

I am extremely disappointed with my experience at Frantz Eye Care. I was incorrectly charged $130 even though my insurance had already paid. After speaking with the billing manager, Megan, I was assured I would receive a refund check for $120. I was told multiple times that the check had been mailed, but more than a month has passed and I still have not received anything. The lack of communication, follow-through, and accountability has been incredibly frustrating. I have had to repeatedly call just to get the same response with no resolution. As a patient, I should not have to chase down money that is rightfully owed to me. If your office makes a billing mistake, it should be corrected promptly. Unfortunately, that has not been my experience. I expected much better customer service and professionalism from this office. I hope this review encourages management to improve the way billing issues are handled so future patients do not have to go through the same experience.

Dr Frantz and his amazing staff are the standard of the industry in South West Florida. Every facility that I have gone to in the last two years have been staffed by the most friendly and courteous people, eager to answer questions and walk you through every step of each procedure. Special shout out to Dr Johnson and Leslie in the cape office earlier today.

The new office at Coralwood Mall is spacious and convenient for me. Staff is pleasant and efficient. I deducted a star because I do not like that receptionists cannot print your prescription for you; only the optical staff is permitted to do this. There was only one person working the optical area and she was waiting on a customer. This forms a bottleneck and you’re forced to wait. I ended up leaving and must now return to get my script. I deducted another star because when my eye measurements were being taken, I was enclosed in a small office with a plug-in type air freshener that didn’t agree with me. Fragranced things usually aren’t allowed in medical offices due to patients having allergies, but this doesn’t seem to be a policy here.

Dr Coyle and her assistance Samantha are the absolute best! I came in with eye pain and they quickly discovered my acute closed angle glacoma and fast tracked me for then right treatment. A year later my eyes are perfect and there is no nerve damage. They took my complaint seriously and took immediate actions to relieve my pain and ultimately save my vision. The best care anyone could ask for!!

Just changed to Franz Eye Care and I have had 2 appointments. I’m very pleased with the Doctors and care I received. I was recently diagnosed with AMD and feel know I will receive great care with Dr Attiku. Tammy Johnson OD was also very kind and knowledgeable.
