Bad experience as a second year returning customer for my toddler's glasses. I need to look for a new place to order a new pair after this review. I was told this year's new pair needed to be one size bigger and that if I wanted to reuse the frame from last year (still very new because it's my son's backup pair that he barely wore) and the lab broke it, they would not be responsible. So I ordered a brand new pair with insurance, supposedly one size bigger, but at pick up, another optician confirmed that it was the exact same size as last year. I would have to wait another 3 weeks if I wanted the bigger size frame. I just kept what they made because it appeared to be fine. I then made an appointment to go back to order a backup pair using the frame from last year, but only to be told to wait 20 minutes after my appointment time because it was their lunch break. I only had 30 minutes for the appointment due to another commitment, so I asked the front desk to keep the frame and have the same optician (second one, the more honest one) order the replacement lenses. But they refused because I was supposed to be there for the order, or I could make another appointment to go back. I just left because this place is not worth the hassle. It looks like they have enough business so they don't really care. They don't care for walk ins, and they're always late for appointments. Only go there if you have nothing to do and can wait for them every single time. Be careful for their upsell and wrong orders.

I cannot say enough about efficient and professional this team is. For years I had been going to a different practice where you would wait for over an hour just to get started and multiple steps each with their own 30-45 minute delay in between. At Fremont Optimetric, I was checked within 5 minutes and the doctor showed up within 5 minutes of the staff finishing with the check in. Their equipment was modern and the tests were far less stressful and efficient. I was done in 40 minutes and felt like my exam was thorough. I only wish I discovered this practice years ago.

Starting with the Front Office to the Doctor all are highly professional, and treated me with utmost respect. The waiting time was minimal. The establishment is equipped with most modern diagnostic equipment. Diagnostic details were explained to me in detail. Overall I was very happy with my experience.

Dr. Gin is awesome. He listened to my problem, did a thorough examination , and explained everything to me in detail, including options for affordability. Highly recommend him.
