LASIK was never something I seriously considered. I was perfectly fine wearing glasses, and while they could be inconvenient during sports or other activities, I figured the procedure and recovery wouldn’t be worth the hassle. I couldn’t have been more wrong. A friend of mine had LASIK done here and told me how quick, easy, and painless both the procedure and recovery were. After hearing about his experience, I decided to schedule a consultation. From the moment I walked in, everyone was incredibly friendly and welcoming. The staff answered every question I had and made me feel comfortable throughout the process. The doctor was exceptional. He was reassuring, patient, and genuinely took the time to explain everything, leaving me completely confident that I was in the right hands. They were able to schedule my procedure just a week later. The surgery itself was incredibly fast and completely painless. The doctor talked me through each step as it was happening, which made the experience even more comfortable and relaxing. Recovery was honestly amazing. I slept for most of the day after the procedure, and by the next morning I was seeing 20/20. Aside from some mild light sensitivity, which is completely normal, I was back to living my normal life the very next day. I genuinely can’t recommend Global LASIK & Cataract Institute enough. If you’ve been putting off LASIK like I did because you think it isn’t worth the hassle, do yourself a favor and at least schedule a consultation. It’s one of the best decisions I’ve ever made.

Shopped around a bit before landing here, and honestly, their customer service, doctors bedside manners too is what sold me. Got scheduled for LASIK surgery just 2 weeks after my consult. Though I consulted in Pasadena, surgery was at their Huntington Beach office. The doctor consistently checked in with me and stayed on top of my follow-ups, which luckily I was able to do in Pasadena. Smooth process overall, highly recommend if you’re considering LASIK or SMILE
