Grand Lake Optometry

After giving up traveling back to Davis to see my old, trusted Optometrist, I thought I would try Grand Lake Optometry. Good choice even if I do say so myself. Everyone was friendly, efficient and clear. Each person I encountered asked if I had any questions. Dr Cheung was very professional yet pleasant and personable. Her exam was thorough and she answered all my questions. Ayana fitted me for new glasses and was equally professional and pleasant. I was especially pleased that someone left a parking spot right in front of the office for me!

Stellar experience from the moment I walked in until I left. I even got a phone call returned BEFORE their lunch break was over! The office is clean, bright and pleasing to the eye. Dr. Lam was professional yet personable (and a real cutie pie!) and was very thorough with her exam and explanations of my issues. The office staff were wonderful, as well. Dr. Lam's assistant was efficient and I loved her side "hair puffs." The front desk gals were full of smiles and very helpful. The woman who showed me an assortment of reading glasses was also very helpful and attentive. She patiently answered all my questions about insurance coverage for new glasses and was very reassuring about being able to adjust the crooked stem of my current frames without damaging it. She did "warn" me of the possibility that the thin metal might break, but she was confident she'd be successful and she was! Crooked frames no more, yay! To me, this was "above and beyond" customer service. To feel valued and "seen" was just very special. Thank you.

Amazing optometry center! It was extremely easy to book appointments for both my 6 yo and myself and we were taken on time. Both doctors were very knowledgeable and friendly. They also took the time to listen to our concerns/questions and to respond to them. The front desk staff and assistants were also great!

Have been going here for 25 years I think, first with Dr Yuen before she retired and then with Dr Cheung. Both doctors have been great. The selection of frames is also top notch, as are all the optician staff who have fitted me with new frames or fixed up old ones. Today, I worked with Ayana who was very professional and a delight to interact with.

Staff here is lovely and friendly! I love the community vibe. We’ve been coming to grand lake optometry since our girls were in elementary school with Dr Diana Yuen and now my husband and I are empty nesters and approaching retirement age😊
