Dr. Cope and staff have been timely, very helpful, and thorough. It great to have this level of service in our rural location.

My family has always enjoyed Great Basin Optical! As someone who has worn glasses and contacts for years and who has children with glasses and contacts, it’s so important to find a place that your family is comfortable. I love Great Basin Optical because it is a family owned business where they treat you like family. They go above and beyond to work with your insurance to make sure they utilize the most of your benefit amounts, while also providing excellent quality and service. They help you find the best fit for you which is so helpful! The staff is so kind and caring and have always been so great to work with. We will continue to go there because of the quality eye care they’ve provided for us these past nearly 18 years that they have taken great care of us! Thanks so much Great Basin Optical!

The staff are very friendly and helpful. The eye doc was very professional and thorough in his examination, and provided a better prescription than the one I had done at Berkeley just 4 months previously.

Fantastic from start to finish. I had metal lodged in my cornea, called in the evening, they made room for me first thing in the morning. Friendly, professional staff, skilled practitioner, fair price.

We have had three experiences of being given the wrong prescription by Dr. Cope. We have paid for glasses and could not see out of them. The staff was rude and unhelpful. The staff says that the prescription is whatever we told the doctor we could see during the exam and not anything to do with them. I have had to have new eye exams done by different optometrists to be able to get glasses we can see out of.
