Amazing experience, highly recommend coming to this place for your eyecare! Haven't been to an optometrist in quite awhile, but I was out with a new prescription and lens paid for within an hour.

Great optical store. I stopped by as a walk-in to get a vision test for my driver's license renewal. The gentleman at the counter was extremely friendly, and charged a very reasonable price. He immediately updated my vision test on the computer, and I was in and out within five minutes. The service and pricing here was much better than other optical stores in the area. Five out five stars!
We liked the selection, the owner spent time helping us pick out two new pairs and after some back and forth, we got the price right to where we both were happy. That said, we paid close to $500 for two pairs that we ordered. Went to pick up the glasses only to be told that we needed to pay an extra $10 per pair because insurance didn't cover as much as expected. My husband actually paid the additional money. I would have said no. I already paid in full and if insurance didn't cover what you expected, write the $20 off the $500 as the cost of doing business. So, so upset by this. Probably wouldn't go back. It's disgusting to upcharge after people pay in full. Fair warning - you may buy and find yourself owing a balance when you try to pick up your new glasses even though you paid in full and have a receipt. Be careful!
There is much to be said about Mr.Gruen. Fist and foremost, from the minute you walk through the door to the moment that you leave you are accompanied my Mr.Gruens' upbeat attitude and warm smile. The challenging task that we all experience a.k.a finding what ''looks good" melts away when you you have such an experienced eye guiding you. His selection is great and his time seems to be unlimited. No matter the question ,be it as silly as it may, Mr.Gruen answers it in a pleasant way ( I am speaking from much experience).
Excellent doc and optician. Best price by far. Very honest because they called me back that they made a mistake and they owed me money.
