Harrodsburg is so blessed to have Dr. Tammy Hoskins , one of the best , genuinely cares for her patients and the staff is always friendly and courteous, if we could give 10 stars we definitely would.

Dr. Hoskins is great. The new Dr. they have is great as well but the new staff is horrible. My grandchildren and I have been going to Tammy for 20 years. Never had a bad experience until the last couple of times we were there. The staff is so rude and rush you to pick out your glasses. They won’t leave you alone and let you try different ones. Very unprofessional! They act like you’re stupid when you question prices that are added to your bill because you are charged for things you never asked for or even told you’ll be getting. Tammy please bring your old staff back!

I am not one to leave a bad review as I believe everyone is entitled to a bad day but when I pay $399.00 for glasses, you say you have 90 days satisfaction guarantee yet I have a pair of glasses I can't wear after giving you multiple opportunities to make things right you deserve a bad review and the community deserves to be cautious when spending their hard earned money with you. The glasses gave me an instant headache and made me swimmy headed immediately. I called and expressed my concerns of not being able to wear the glasses, explaining I never got a receipt, the exam results weren't explained to me, nor was the prescription and what you were doing to the glasses, and that I was rushed during the process of picking out glasses you told me to try wearing them and see if it got better. I was only told it was $399.00 with insurance and $800 without. I couldn't try on glasses I picked out for the lady shoving glasses of her choice in my hand. I even asked for time to look on my own without assistance and she still didn't back off. After calling my insurance I was told to come in for a reexamine. I went in and seen another eye dr who didn't know any of the back story. She changed my prescription and recommended smaller glasses saying my prescription was off and that with my previous glasses being small I needed to go with a small frame. Every eye dr I've ever been to has recommended small frames due to my little eyes and some even put me in children's glasses. Everyone else in the building refused to listen to the Dr's recommendations and said the size had no impact, you would redo the lenses. I asked what happens if that doesn't take care of it and was told we'll go from here. I came in to pick them up again today (my 3rd trip) and the very same results. You refused to listen to me gave me one excuse after the next and then had the nerve to ask why I was upset. You told me you have the best designer glasses around that people drove from Lexington just to get your top of the line glasses, you said the lady who assisted me was great at her job and highly educated, told me there was no way they gave me an instant headache yet turned around and said if you switch your frames out sometimes they do you the same way at first so I asked what was I supposed to do keep a headache and nausea for another week or month trying to get used to them for it not to work just as it didn't the first time you recommended that as a fix. Your reply was well if you think they are going to give you a headache and make you sick of course they are going to. In other words telling me it was all in my head and basically called me a liar. So obviously you think because you sell designer glasses you can just talk to people any way you like and that they are supposed to love your product because it's top of the line. I could care less about a brand name especially a brand that's useless to me. For something so sought after and valuable you sure don't stand behind them or provide customer service. I mean I would think people would be lined up wanting them you take such great pride in researching designers and buying top of the line you should be able to resell them immediately and give me a pair I can use. So in the end I walked out with a $400 pair of glasses I can't wear and left to wear my previous scratched glasses with an old prescription till insurance will cover a new exam in a year. I have never received such horrible customer service in my life. You don't stand behind your products, are to busy spouting out irrelevant excuses to listen to your customer, basically called me a liar, and was literally laughing when I turned around telling my mom I couldn't believe I had waisted 400$ and how unprofessional you were.

From timely reminders to pleasant staff, our experience could not have been better. My grandson had been telling me he needed to have his glasses changed, and when I called, we were given a timely appointment. He, in fact, did need to have his prescription changed. What a relief to have such professionals in Harrodsburg. In a very icy and snowy day, with appropriate COVID-19 protocol, my grandson and I were treated in a respectful manner by each staff member. Thanks again for your kind service.
