Went to get my ears checked the other day. Haven’t been able to hear very well in years. The doctor was an odd guy, and seemed more interested in rambling on about his highschool years than making sure i got the treatment i needed. They also claimed I passed the hearing test, when I missed many words and signals. I left with absolutely no clarification of what’s wrong with my ears, and having to wait even longer to get help

Dealing with the Hutchinson clinic has literally been a nightmare. I’ve been an Allergy patient for several years and on my charts, It is clearly noted to not send my allergy shot vial without contacting me first because they cannot sit in the heat in a mailbox. It has to be refrigerated. Last fall, they sent it without notifying me and I was out of town for 10 days so it sat there in my mailbox. I called when I got home and told them that it was sent. They told me to discard it and they would send another. They charged me for both And while I have disputed it for four months, the billing department in particular, manager Brandi, said that they made two vials and I will pay for two vials. The worst part is Tiara (in billing) would not let me speak to Brandi ,who made the final decision. She was rude, disrespectful, and refused to transfer me. She kept saying that it was the manager’s final decision and there’s nothing else to discuss. I had never spoke personally to the Brandi, the billing manager, in order to explain the situation and that there are notes and flags all over my account to indicate to call before shipping vials which every receptionist did confirm. The person who was the most respectful, listened, understood me and fought for me as well and did everything in her power to help was receptionist Cheyenne also known as Chey. She was definitely so kind. nonetheless, I requested my medical records transferred today to move clinics and will never go back. The crazy thing is, they lost a patient over $55.

I need to tell everyone I go to Hutchinson Clinic on Waldron and I see Dr. Thurman he is so nice and let's you talk and he does listen. If you are really sick he will find a way to get you in that day or next. Just wanted to brag on my Dr. And Clinic. Thank you Jolynn

Nothing makes you feel prioritized like having an abcessed tooth and only needing one signature to get it pulled. I drove over an hour l, faxed the paper and even walked into the clinic for clearance. They refused to give me 30 seconds and said that paper would be right over. Then it was 10-15 minutes, now I’m in excruciating pain for another month! All because that doctor obviously had time to talk to staff about it but sent me away and said they would fax it. Guess what didn’t happen? I am so livid and can’t get any relief for a month! Who does that

I recommend against pursuing physical therapy here. General family practice and many of their specialists are great, but their billing and physical therapy are unpleasant at best. They swapped who was seeing early on, and each new appointment saw me re-explaining the same issues as though they didn't pay attention to me or take notes the first time - even after I was seeing the same doctor several times. The worst part is each 15 minute appointment caused me to incur my specialist co- pay. This wasn't explained to me until the bills started showing up months later. I'm just now getting a new bill for an appointment from October, 5 months ago. The results were also lackluster probably due to the needing to re-explain every time.
