Ideal Optical Choice

I stopped by the office earlier today, the girl at the front I believe her name is Elizabeth, she was very helpful and friendly and I was able to reschedule my apt with no issues. Update 6/9/2026: I really do not understand the previous bad reviews but I had a great experience today, the nurse took me into the exam room, went through 4 machines, very thorough and detailed examination, the sat down with the Dr. who does not sugarcoat which I appreciate then spoke to the glasses specialist upfront. The entire process quick thorough and smooth.

I don't usually make reviews, but this was a terrible experience. The front desk and the doctor was amazing. As far as my contacts that I came for, I never received them. I have amazing insurance, and have coverage for atleast two packs of free contacts. As I came out of my exam I was told what I was covered with, and that they would put the order in. I then received a call asking if I would still want my contacts, I said yes. The girl said she would request them she asked me how many packs do I want and I told her whatever insurance covered. I then received another call by a man screaming at me telling me I don't get any contacts and he doesn't know what I'm talking about and what I'm miscommunicating but I won't be receiving anything free. If I want contacts I must pay. He was literally yelling at me, and proceeding to go back and forth with me as I told him I had insurance. He finally agreed to call my insurance and give me a call back. He then called me back and apologized and told me I do have coverage and he will order them. AGAIN. 3 months later I return to the store to pick up my script because I am fed up and to see the status of the contacts. They tell me they were never ordered and again I don't have coverage for them. I am so tired of the back and forth with this place. They are so rude. They do not even let you get a word in, and the lack of communication is insane.

Horrible attitude for customer service, especially that ONE OLD MAN!! I came inside looking for frames that fit my face but the man keep on saying if u don’t buy glasses then you can’t touch the frames. Even when I’m finding frames for myself, he keep on following me and try to take all the frames from me and say that I’m gonna scratch the standard lens that gonna get replaced if I buy it anyways. Ended up leaving without buying, HATE IT!!

As other customers have posted here have said, RUN!!! Don't walk from this place. The eye doctor, Dr. Ramandeep Sandhu, and his medical staff were great. But as other customers said here the gentleman who works in the front tried to overcharge me for my new lenses. Based on the way he was speaking to me I told him I felt I was being scammed. He told me that me telling him I felt that he was scamming me was very offensive. I do not like being gaslighted. I've dealt with enough of that in my lifetime. He then became very threatening to me in that he said that calling him a scammer was illegal. I thank God I am not the only one who called him a scammer, as I see other reviewers have said the same. He then threatened to call my insurance company and report me, but I had already reported him to my rep at my insurance company. It amazes me that Dr. Ramandeep Sandhu continues to employ this man, given the negative reviews and all the negative comments about him. This has to be the worst experience I've ever had at an eye doctor appointment.
