I came to the practice in early June after Kimberlee found a cancellation and got me in sooner than expected. Growing up, I struggled with reading, headaches, and eye strain. I wish I had the ability to find this information when I was younger. If you’re considering an evaluation or therapy for your child, I encourage you to explore it. Dr. Nick listened carefully, completed a thorough evaluation, and prescribed prism lenses that have truly improved my daily comfort and reduced eye strain and fatigue. (Currently 36) I also brought my daughters (ages 3 and 1) for exams, and the experience was wonderful. Dr. Nick was patient, kind, and engaging, making them feel at ease. The team successfully captured eye images for both girls, thanks to Megan’s skill and care. It’s rare to find a provider who is both excellent with children and so thorough. I left feeling confident in their care and grateful for such a positive experience. Thank you to Dr. Nick, Kimberlee, Megan, Janet, Gina, and the entire team for your kindness, professionalism, and exceptional care.

I cannot say enough good things about Walesby Vision Center. No other doctor was able to help my daughter the way Walesby Vision center has. They are so knowledgeable, professional and kind and patient. Every staff member goes out of their way for every patient. They have made a forever impact on our whole family. My daughter’s vision has vastly improved.

We are thrilled to have met Dr Nick and his amazing team and look forward to working with them for years to come. Our little boy is non-verbal autistic who has lots of medical appointments which are always stressful, but our experience at Walesby was different. Dr Nick took a lot of time with us and his team could not have been better. 5 stars for sure!

I have been a loyal patient at Walesby Vision Center since I was 10 years old, even going through their vision therapy program as a child. Because of that decades-long history, I am incredibly disappointed by how I was treated today. Last week, I called to check on my prescription. Gina told me it was valid until 2026 and emailed it over so I could order new glasses. When Warby Parker rejected the order, I looked closer at the document and realized the expiration date was actually 2025. It was an honest mistake on Gina's part—obviously, she wouldn't have sent it to me to use if she realized it was already expired. When I called today to get it sorted out, Gina wasn't available, so I spoke to Kimberly. Instead of trying to help resolve the confusion, Kimberly immediately took an incredibly hostile, accusatory tone, essentially implying I was lying about my previous conversation. Why on earth would I fabricate a conversation about a prescription date? To make matters worse, Kimberly then defused the actual issue by bringing up two past no-shows to deflect from her own bad attitude. Life happens, things get chaotic, and I was entirely willing to pay any necessary rescheduling fees to get my prescription updated. But after being met with that level of entitlement and unnecessary rudeness from someone representing the business, I will absolutely be taking my eyes and my money elsewhere. If you've been a patient here for 20 years, expect zero loyalty in return if you have to deal with Kimberly. Absolutely ridiculous customer service.

I recently was treated at Walesby Vision Center, using their 12 day OMST treatment and I really felt I was in competent, caring hands with the whole staff. I mostly interacted with Emma the technician. I can’t say enough about how pleasant, compassionate, and professional she was! She made the therapy easy to go to and added thoughtful touches like making sure she had my favorite flavor lollipops to help the times go faster. I finished my twelfth day feeling I had made a new friend. My three month evaluation showed considerable improvement in my cognitive skills that were affected by a concussion. This is great, and in large part due to their excellent treatment. If you find yourself in need of vision care at any level, I highly recommend their clinic.
