I had a great experience today at InOptix for probably one of, if not the most, thorough optometry visits I’ve ever had since I began wearing glasses in middle school. The optician was also very quick in helping me decide on a pair of glasses within the boundaries of my vision plan as well. I highly recommend them and am glad they were recommended to me, too. 🙂
By far the best eyecare and customer service experience I have had. Dr. Yakovleva took time to explain my eyecare journey and her recommendations in great detail. The exam was the most comprehensive exam I’ve ever had. Her staff guided me through a flawless process of selecting the right frames and lenses. The exam itself was fine, but the overall experience didn’t match the 5-star reviews. The front desk staff wasn’t very welcoming for someone coming in for the first time. I was also offered an optional eye imaging test that wasn’t covered by insurance. While I understand upsells are common, it was presented in a way that made it feel like the “better” option without much time to consider, which could easily persuade someone who isn’t familiar with eye exams. So be aware of that. Lastly, the eyeglass selection was pretty limited and not very impressive. Overall, not a terrible experience, but definitely not what I expected.
