First time having a contact exam and they did not provide instructions on how to use the contacts. No insertion and removal instructions or classes. Never checked my acuities with the contacts they gave me. Never looked at my eyes when wearing the contacts to make sure they are fitting well or not causing damage. I figured out how to put them in and take them out from youtube videos since they had no system in place to teach new wearers and did not offer any instructions after I told them multiple times this is my first time with contacts. This place is a joke. The Dr's wife or something does the orders and faxes the records and she is never there. They told me they couldn't send me records or fax my rx until the wife got in cause she's the one who does that. Took me multiple times of calling to get my records sent to another office. One of the women I spoke to argued with me about what contacts lenses I wanted to get. I told them I was specifically looking for precision 1 alcon dailies when I first called to make the appointment and wanted to make sure they were able to order those specific ones. Told the staff when I arrived multiple times while I was there which contacts I wanted to get. (One of the staff members argued with me about he contacts i asked for saying i asked for acuview oasis. ) i literally had precision 1 dailies written on my hand and kept saying it. I dont know how she got acuview but whatever i know people make mistakes so thats fine as long as its fixed but she was literally like no you didnt say precision one alcon and tried to say i told her i wanted the oasis ones when i absolutely did not. So I had her pull the call notes from when i booked the appointment and she said oh yes you did say precision 1 dailies alcon. It was fixed after multiple phone calls. Called yesterday to see about ordering contacts and they said it would be $400 to order a 90 day supply of contacts. I ordered from another office for 1/3 of the price. I'll never go back. Unprofessional, disorganized and way over priced.
Haven’t been here since I was in Middle school. First time coming back but with my son and the Dr and staff were very very attentive, all questions answered. Everything was detailed for my son and I. Most importantly my son felt comfortable. Def’ staying & referring.
Went for eye exam. They run a no frills operation, but they have the skills and equipment for an excellent, thorough eye exam, which i prefer to be honestly. Doctor was great and knowledgable. Staff is friendly, not sure what the complaints about staff are about. Selection for frames was a bit limited, but I was going to order lenses separately anyways, so not an issue for me at all. RECOMMEND!
I've been coming to this doctor for several years now. Wonderful, quick, friendly service. Good prices for their display of eyewear as well. Definitely a good spot for eye care in Irving, TX. Staff does speak Spanish.
