I left a message early in the morning because my son Lennon had a glasses emergency—his current glasses broke, and we didn’t have a reliable backup pair. To my surprise, the office returned my call before they officially opened at 8:00 a.m. with the wonderful news that they had a similar frame available and could repair his glasses if I brought them in. I arrived within minutes, and the staff could not have been more kind and understanding. They switched everything over to the new frame in less than 15 minutes while I waited. I was extremely worried that I wouldn’t be able to return before office hours ended, but they made it a priority to help us right away. Not only did I leave with my son’s glasses repaired in a new frame, but I also ordered a backup pair for peace of mind. I’ve been coming to this office for many years, and Dr. Cassata has always been caring, compassionate, and wonderful. I also can’t say enough about the entire office staff. Every person I interacted with today showed kindness, patience, and grace, and they truly saved the day for my son, who depends on his glasses to see. I am so grateful for the exceptional care and customer service they consistently provide.

I have been going to Island Family Eye Care for years. Each time I go for an appointment or make a phone call they exceed my expectations. The entire team is warm, kind and so helpful. Dr Cassata is knowledgeable and takes her time and answers all of my questions. Highly recommend, I assure you wont be disappointed!
Would give them a 0 if I could. Charged me $143 dollars for my yearly check up wouldn’t let me see the doctor until I paid. Mind you I have vision insurance. The office is manager is truly awful and the biller has no idea what she’s doing. Love the doctor but the people working for her are awful. In response: I’ve called my insurance company multiple times, they had let me know they your team was frustrated that I kept calling. However, they had advised me to call since you kept submitting the wrong cpt codes. Of course I proceeded with my visit, I needed to see the doctor. Your team never followed up with me, only when I called to follow up. I don’t believe you take billing serious or anything else serious to be honest. Clearly a money grab. CONTINUED Thank you for the letter in the mail letting me know I am no longer a patient at your practice. Please let me know when you’ll be sending my check from my last appointment. Insurance has posted the claim letting me know I owe you guys $50 dollars, and I paid $110 dollars at my appointment. So please send the check ASAP. Thanks so much!
Today i went to get my glasses tightened, not realizing it closed at noon today, I walked in at 1204pm, as the door was unlocked. I was asked may I help you and I removed my glasses to show how loose the arms were. I was told they are closed and would I like to come back Monday. The staff was there and the lady that does take care of the glasses was. It would not have taken more than 2 minutes. I'm a nurse and when I'm done giving report, I will be asked for a glass of water or a cup of ice by a patient or family. I don't tell them my shift is done. I get it for them. Something so simple that would not have interrupted cash register or balancing of anything, it could have been taken care of. I have been a patient here and I bought my glasses here. Very disappointed.
This location provides the highest quality service. I would like to extend my sincere gratitude to the doctor, who is highly skilled and compassionate, as well as to her entire team. The doctor takes ample time to explain everything in detail. The team is very kind, caring, and professional. I appreciate the lady who took the time to assist me in selecting my eyeglasses. This is undoubtedly the best team for eye care services. Thank you to everyone involved.
