I saw a black spot in my vision and was examined by Dr. Jacob Clark. He said that there was no problem and that he couldn't find any anomalies, which lowered my guard. After a couple of months, the spot started to progress and became larger. After an examination at a different facility, it turned out that I had a retinal detachment all along. Because of the false diagnosis, I had to undergo vitrectomy surgery, which later impacted my vision. Most likely, I could have had it fixed with a laser procedure if Dr. Jacob Clark had given me the correct diagnosis in the first place, not to mention that his visit was expensive even with insurance. I thought I was paying to be examined by an experienced doctor. It turned out that I paid and placed my trust in someone only to become partially disabled for the rest of my life. Luckily not blind.

Thank you to the staff & especially Dr. Jacob Clark during my first ever visit. The office was clean and everyone was so respectful during my appointment. The classical music was very relaxing and Dr. Clark was so kind, knowledgeable and efficient during my appointment. I would recommend him to everyone. Again thank you very much and see you in 2028! ❤️

The practice is efficient, the venue sparkling and the staff congenial. Dr. Clark consults the records from previous visits and not only does the exam, but is willing take the time to address other issues about the eyes that may not come up, such as floaters, dry eye, periodic fizziness. He provides all levels of service, I have been using this practice for at least 20 years.

I arrived on time for my appointment, but because my insurance had recently changed and billing staff were unavailable, I was told my only options were to pay the full visit cost out of pocket or a $60 fee just to reschedule. I paid the $60 to obtain my medical records and was then told another $60 would be required to schedule a new appointment. Policies are understandable, but how situations are handled is what reflects respect for patients. Being physically present, trying to resolve the issue in good faith, and still being met with rigid administrative responses — without escalation or effort to help — felt dismissive. What was even more concerning was reading other patient reviews afterward and seeing that office responses to concerns often come across as defensive rather than solution-oriented. That pattern speaks louder than any single fee. Healthcare should make patients feel cared for, not processed. Unfortunately, this experience did not reflect that, and I will be seeking care elsewhere. I encourage others to carefully consider this when choosing where to receive care.
