03-23-2026 Today I visited Kentucky Eye Care arriving at 8:50 am for 9:10 am appointment. Self check in at kiosk. Waiting room until 10:10 went to a secretary in the front. She said my appointment was canceled. I wasn’t supposed to be there. I said well I have an email and text messages that making sure that I’m gonna be there on time today. I will post them below the service of this place. Absolutely sucks. They have no idea what’s going on. I had to make a pre-payment to get in. The lady tells me that she can’t credit me that has to be done by her boss . I called when I got home regarding this to the billing department. They said oh yes, we do credit accounts once a week on Fridays another line of crap again this place sucks while I love my doctor that I visit. I will not be returning to Kentucky Eye Care . I am done UPDATE! I just got a call from Kentucky Eye Care and had a very positive conversation with Allison. She apologized multiple times and asked me to reschedule my exam. I'm willing to give them another chance and appreciate Allison's efforts! Thank you!

I had an eye exam at Ky Eye Care, but had my prescription filled at America's Best. I struggled with seeing out of my new glasses and returned to AB for help. I was told that the glasses were made as prescribed, so I went back to Ky Eye Care. After waiting more than an hour past my appointment time and being charged even more money for the recheck, they told me that the glasses were not made as prescribed. (I didn't see a doctor again and no one offered to recheck my vision.) I again returned to AB. They offered to have their doctor recheck my vision at no charge. The eye doctor at AB showed me the difference between what they prescribed at Ky Eye Care (everything was blurry) and what he prescribed (crystal clear). At AB, they are remaking my glasses at no charge. I understand that mistakes happen, but the folks at America's Best took the time to listen to me and to correct the problem. They know what customer service is all about. Needless to say, I won't be returning to Ky Eye Care.
KEC is amazing! Called a few weeks ago cause I was having problems with my eye and they were able to get me in the same day! Dr. Asplund and Dr. Neiweem are both amazing doctors. Highly recommend to all my family and friends :)
I went in beginning March to get eye exam & apparently they didn’t check for a condition, that I described to every person, tester, & ophthalmologist of what my eyes do. Got an Rx & got glasses @ great place since KEC’s selection is truly not diverse & VERY expensive per pair. New glasses fit perfect, but I couldn’t see! I had to read up on my condition which is called cyclopegic refracture, & called KEC to look @ my chart to see if they checked for it, which they didn’t. Told to come back to see if they weren’t fit correctly prior to them doing an re-exam for it, & fit was fine. KEC say the place gave me wrong Rx? So I have to go back to where I got the glasses w/ a new possibly incorrect Rx, wait for new frames sent out & back, & have KEC recheck for fit again. If I still can’t see, only then can they do a re-exam-which will cost ME $! Then I’ll have a 3rd Rx & go through the whole entire lens ordering process a 3rd time! Very upset, & it’s April 28th. I’m 1/3 way through process.
The staff (Brooklyn, Taylor) and my doctor (Dr. Harmon) are great. What is NOT great is the stalking that is auto-generated to confirm appointments. I literally got 5 text messages and 2 phone calls to remind me of an appointment for which I had confirmed. This after I replied STOP on the texts. Also, I left a voice mail on the receptionist's line after my appointment to inquire about buying more product that I had bought when I checked out. No one ever responded to the call. Don't have a voice mail box if it's not going to be checked.
