Easter weekend, April 2026, I visited Key West on an impromptu girls trip. That Friday, I realized I did not pack any of my contacts. Two hours prior to a kayak excursion, I was calling around trying to find contacts to purchase. I spoke with Julia @ Keys Eye Care and she told me to come on in she had some contacts in stock in my strength. When I got to the clinic, not only did she have one trial pack for me, she had three and a trial size of solution as well! I had my American Express in hand ready to pay and she would not take my money. She told me to have a great trip. I got pure cold chills on my arm and hugged her so tightly. I left with contacts in hand and tears in my eyes. Her kindness and generosity made this small town North Carolina country girl feel right at home. Thank you Julia and your entire staff for being so inviting and making my trip memorable!!!

Julie is amazing! This whole experience has been a blessing! Sadly I have to update this. Monica is one of the rudest people I've ever spoke with. She's condescending and very unprofessional. While trying to ask a question, she made up a story and then was frustrated when I asked about the story and said "haha" like I was suppose to know when she turned on the "FIBB switch" Not to take away from Julie or the other amazing people I have dealt with, but definitely will look for alternatives in the future.
On our way to visit Key West my son broke his glasses at the airport. The following day we were able to stop in and they were able to replace the nose piece and fix the hinge so we could enjoy our vacation. No charge. So comforting with all the other issues we had encountered in our trip. Grateful and so appreciative!
Needed to have shots in both eyes for macular degeneration, while away from home. My doctor made the appointment to have this procedure done in Key West. Everything went well. Thankful to have a qualified doctor available without making a trip to Miami!
Monica is EXTREMELY rude. When inquiring about exam costs and staying I was shocked they were more expensive than the more reputable eye center and questioned to ask if it were a different exam and I said “thank you” she just hung up. Then when I called back because I am trying to figure out what exam I need and all costs UPFRONT. I asked if she hung up on me and she argued a bit and told me to go to Oppenheimer and hung up again. All I need is a cost of an exam for a contact lens for reading. I have an current eye exam and script for reading glasses. When she said the price was DOUBLE of the nicer Oppenheimer (which everyone knows is expensive) of course I was inquiring what was included. Way to go Monica. My insurance may have coverage with you all but I’ll still pay less with the others and WON’T be subject to your rudeness!
