I always have a good experience here. The staff is welcoming and the technicians are friendly and professional. You talk to actual people. And they treat you like a real person, not like the previous eye care place I used. There the lady at the desk points you to a kiosk and you have to check in on that. You felt more like a number there.

930 appt. Opens at 8am and already running 30 mins late. Take my mentally handicapped 70 yo brother to have left eye cataract verified needs repair then to schedule repair surgery. Dr Connie Meredith has left and replaced with Dr Hoffmann. To be clear, all the helpers and assistants were phenomenal. Hoffman gives up, my handicapped brother wont open eyes enough for a nice clean "normal" exam. Hoffman has already said sees cloudiness and the pleasant techs verified vision is limited. Hoffmann says he is good with one good eye, doesnt complain and using anesthesia is too dangerous. Decides everything on his own. I know then I dont want this Dr working on my brother (or me, or you reading this). This was a terrible waste of almost 2 hours. This doctor is probably fine for easy low hanging work but if it gets tough at all he bails. Be aware
I've been a patient here for years. It started off well, but the patient experience has declined over the past few years. Long wait times have become common. At my most recent appointment, I arrived on time for a 10:00 AM appointment and was immediately told they were running 30 minutes behind schedule. While delays happen, what was frustrating was the complete lack of flexibility or effort to minimize the impact on patients. They don't offer a system to text or call patients as their appointment time approaches, and when I asked if I could wait in my car and get some work done while they caught up, I was told that leaving the waiting room would be considered leaving the appointment, even though I would still be on the property. They ended up running even later than they initially stated. I wasn't called back until more than 40 minutes after my scheduled appointment time, and during that entire wait no one from the front desk provided any updates or communicated revised expectations. The attitude from the front desk was essentially that the delay was my problem to manage. This wasn't surprising, as the front desk staff often come across as though patients are inconveniencing them simply by being there. It's not a welcoming environment. For example, there is a sign at check-in stating that patients must present their vision insurance card and that it is not the receptionist's responsibility to ask for it. The overall message seems to be that patients are expected to accommodate the practice, rather than the practice making any effort to accommodate patients. Another example: the office expects patients to spend 5–10 minutes completing online check-in forms days before appointments, so they clearly have no issue requiring patients to invest additional time when it benefits their operations. Unfortunately, their consideration for the value of one's time does not seem to go both ways. The location is convenient for me, and the actual care has always been adequate. Those factors have made it easier to overlook the less-than-ideal experiences that seem to accompany almost every visit. However, it's becoming harder and harder to justify. This last visit took almost 2 hours in their office. If I were a new patient looking for an eye care provider, I would probably choose a different practice. After years as a patient, I'm finding myself considering the same thing.
I had a great experience at Koby Karp Doctors Eye Institute! The team was very kind and helpful, and Dr. Kerley is comprehensive, knowledgeable, and thorough! I’d recommend this office every day.
Everyone in the practice is courteous, pleasant and professional. My husband and I have been patients for over ten years and have always been treated with respect and compassion.
