Hands down the best cornea specialist and eye doctor I’ve ever visited in Dallas. Before coming here, I had tried several other places with no luck, but their Red Light Therapy has made a world of difference for me. Instead of just providing temporary relief, this treatment helped target the root causes by improving my oil gland function, reducing inflammation, and supporting healing from the inside out. Thanks to this professional care, my chronic dryness has significantly improved, my vision feels much clearer, and my eyes are finally comfortable. A huge thank you to the doctor and the wonderful, kind team for their high-quality, professional care!

I was diagnosed with Keratoconus two years ago, I thought the way I saw the world was the way everything looked and that eventually I was going to go blind. For a long time, I struggled with blurry and distorted vision, horrible migraines, and eventually it got to the point where cars looked blurry and I wasn't able to drive confidently (plus I'm a horrible driver lol). I didn't realize how much my vision was affecting my everyday life until I finally understood what clear vision actually felt like. The first time I saw clearly with my scleral lenses, it felt like a miracle. I love, love, love being able to see. I love being able to see how handsome my husband is. I love seeing people's eyes and realizing how beautiful they are. I love that there are so many tiny details in this world that I never knew existed, the leaves on trees, the little cracks and crevices in wood, the textures, the colors, all the small things that make the world so beautiful. It sounds silly, but sometimes I catch myself just looking at things because I actually CAN!! I feel amazed by things most people probably don't even notice. I am so incredibly grateful for Kurtin Vision Specialists and Adela, and all the other amazing girls there! They helped me understand Keratoconus and he actually gave me 20/20 vision with my sclerals! He didn't just help me see better; he gave me back a part of my life and gave me hope when I didn't know how much I needed it. Now I can see, read, drive, work, and do so much! I don't think I'll ever stop being amazed by the miracle of eyesight.
Dr. Kurtin is the best eye doctor in Addison. He is up to date on all the latest technology and treatments for eye diseases. I looked for a doctor who knew how to fit contacts, and give an option for lenses to someone with keratoconus for years. I no longer have to look. His staff is extremely nice and helpful also.
I have been a keratoconus patient for over 25 years, and as I’ve aged, my lens fittings have become increasingly challenging; especially with the added need for reading glasses. Dr. Kurtin at the Scleral Lens Center DFW provided a level of expertise I haven’t found elsewhere. He worked tirelessly to find a custom solution for me, fitting one eye with a bifocal scleral lens and the other with a bifocal soft lens. Being able to focus on both near and far objects again is a massive relief. What sets Dr. Kurtin apart is the time he spends with his patients. He never rushes and ensures you are genuinely happy with the results. He took the time to explain the current condition of my eyes with total transparency, helping me understand why my vision has changed and the logic behind our current results. I truly appreciate his honesty regarding the risks and benefits of every option. Highly recommend him for anyone with complex vision needs.
I had pretty much given up hope on seeing again. My local wye doctor referred me to the good folks at Kurtin Vision and due to where we live and the amount of time it takes to get there for me, the wonderful ladies in the office worked with our drive time. Once we were in the office the staff was wonderful, patient and friendly with my eye needs. A couple times down there and a few tests to get to the root of my eye problems the wonderful ladies and doctor had a plan for me to see. Now after 20 YEARS of bad eyesight I can SEE again! It was something I thought would never happen again! I am truly grateful for the support that the ladies and doctor had to get me to this level of vision. It sounds silly but to see leaves on a tree again and not just a green colored blob is something I literally never thought I could see again. Thank you to everyone at Kurtin Vision!
