Went with my dad to this optometrist recently, and it was such a great experience. He was able to get a really thorough exam that also focused on preventative care, which we both really appreciated. Angie was very caring and patient all throughout until my dad found a pair of transition glasses that he loved. You can tell they genuinely care about their patients. Definitely recommend!!

Great experience from start to finish I had a really great experience at L Eye C Optics. The staff were super friendly and helpful — not pushy at all, just genuinely interested in helping me find the right pair of glasses. They walked me through everything and made the process really easy. There were a lot of cool, stylish frames to choose from, and they helped me pick something that actually fit my face and my personality. The eye exam was smooth and professional, and my new glasses feel great. I can see clearly, and I’ve gotten a bunch of compliments from my coworkers already!

If you are looking for an eye doctor or glasses in LIC, this is the one!! I chose this place randomly because I thought the name was funny, but I honestly had the best eye appointment experience I have had in NYC. - Making the appointment was so easy! I called the number on google maps and the receptionist was very kind and patient. I got a text confirmation about my appointment - The storefront was professional and clean, and the best part was, it was not too overwhelming with too many options. I think my biggest problem with choosing glasses is having too many choices 🥲 and I liked how this place has a good selection of quality brands. - The doctor I saw was so awesome at explaining everything. I felt like I was at a science class, not a doctor’s appointment! I feel much more confident in understanding my own eyes. (I think her name was Lynn?) - I was able to stay under my budget and the staff there were very understanding and was able to help me use my insurance to the fullest

My wife and my daughter had an excellent experience at LEYEC Optics. I had recently purchased a pair of prescription glasses for my daughter while traveling overseas, thinking everything would be fine. However, once we returned home and began using them, she realized something was off and her vision didn’t feel quite right. I scheduled an appointment to see if they could take a look. From the moment I walked in, the staff was welcoming and understanding. Even though I hadn’t purchased the glasses through them, they were determined to help. The doctor carefully examined the glasses and immediately noticed that my daughter's prescription seemed off. She took the time to test the lenses and thoroughly examine my daughter to determine her correct perscription. Sure enough, the script from abroad had been filled incorrectly. Instead of making my wife feel rushed or uncomfortable about the situation, both Angie and the doctor explained everything in a calm and reassuring way, and offered to help correct it. Angie went above and beyond and guided my wife through the options for getting my daughter's lenses redone locally. She made it a priority so that my daughter could see clearly and comfortably again. My family will absolutely be returning here for all of our future eye care needs and will be recommending this office to family and friends without hesitation.

A friend referred me to this location for sunglasses since they have a great collection. The staff helped me find a pair and one for my boyfriend too, we absolutely love them! I am a little indecisive but they were so patient and were able to accommodate. They helped me look at all the color options so I could find the perfect fit. They also went over lens options with like the polarized lenses. Angie, Kat and Andrea were so welcoming and we will definitely go back to them next summer!
