I contacted this office last week to update my pharmacy information after my previous pharmacy failed to notify me about a medication refill. The staff member I spoke with assured me that a medication nurse would call me back, that my pharmacy info had been updated, and that my prescription would be sent to the new pharmacy that same day. A week went by with no call and no prescription sent. When I called back today and asked about the person who had taken my information the week before, I was immediately told, "We have 4 people here, there's no way to know who that was." No effort was made to look into it further. The person I spoke with simply repeated the same script — that "the medication nurse will call me." When I asked what the actual next steps were and how I could confirm the prescription had gone to the correct pharmacy, she hung up on me. Dr. Marvin himself is excellent and genuinely caring — that part of my experience has never been in question. But the support staff is a different story. Their inefficiency and lack of follow-through have made basic tasks, like updating a pharmacy and sending a prescription, unnecessarily stressful. It's fine to treat this as "just a job," but it would serve both patients and the practice far better if the staff remembered they're dealing with people who depend on this care, not just items on a checklist. This kind of communication breakdown is unacceptable, especially when it involves getting a patient their necessary medication. There's no accountability, no follow-through, and no way to get a straight answer from anyone in the office. Until the front-office experience matches the quality of the doctor, I can't recommend this clinic to others.

My mom was referred to Lee Eye Surgery Clinic by church friends, which prompted me to go in for a vision check up too. My experience with Dr. Lee and the entire staff was nothing short of incredible. They are highly professional, conduct thorough exams, and practice with total honesty. Dr. Lee only writes prescriptions when absolutely necessary. He has a brilliant reputation as a surgeon, and I highly recommend this clinic for any eye care needs!

Dr. Hsaio and the entire team are fantastic. There can sometimes be a wait of an hour or more to be seen, but it’s clear this is because they are very thorough and give each patient the attention they need. The staff is friendly, welcoming, and professional. As someone who is neurodivergent, I especially appreciate how kind and accepting the team is—they make me feel comfortable and never judged. It’s also impressive that many team members, including Dr. Hsaio, are bilingual or even trilingual, speaking English, Mandarin, and Spanish. Highly recommend!

What a breath of fresh air, I am 76 years old. I have visited numerous eye clinics and doctors in my life. My sisters recommended him. Dr. Lee is a true professional and a remarkable human being with grace, dignity, and humor. His credentials speak for itself. Dr. Lee MD, PhD has vast experience in his practice. To begin with, my first visit to the clinic was an eye opener. All the staff members and nurses were very professional, courteous, and pleasant to interact with. After talking to him for five minutes, I felt comfortable and immediately decided to trust him with my cataract surgery. I was a bit skeptical and not sure about other ophthalmologists I visited. Unfortunately, I found them more of sales people than doctors. My first cataract surgery was done perfectly that I have scheduled for other eye already. If you are looking for a great Doctor and very helpful support staff, don't waste your time, do your own due diligence and seriously consider Dr. Lee's eye clinic.
