I had an absolutely wonderful experience at MyEyeDr. in Waltham Woods (Parkville), and I specifically want to recognize Donna, the General Manager. From the moment I walked in, she was professional, patient, and incredibly knowledgeable. She helped guide me through selecting my glasses in a way that felt collaborative, not pressured. She gave thoughtful recommendations, explained options clearly, and made the entire process smooth and enjoyable. What stood out most was her patience and professionalism when my FSA card initially declined because my benefits don’t start until March 1st. Instead of making it awkward or stressful, she calmly reassured me and offered to securely hold my card information and run it once the benefits activate. That level of grace and problem-solving meant a lot. She also took time to educate me about retinal health for my daughter, explaining how something as small as a freckle on the retina can be significant. That showed me she genuinely cares about patients and families, not just transactions. Because of her leadership and customer care, I ended up purchasing six pairs of glasses with protection plans—and I left feeling confident, respected, and well taken care of. It’s rare to experience service that combines competence, warmth, and integrity at this level. I see exactly why she’s the General Manager. Highly recommend this location.

Omg guys I needed to renew my license and failed the vision test so I needed to be seen by an optometrist within today because my license is expiring also today and I thought my day would be bad because I have searched and called all eye centers closed to me and they all gave me at least a week before they can accommodate me but voila when google lead me to MyEyeDr everything went smoothly, from the receptionist to the eye technician to choosing my glasses everybody was very nice, accommodating and professional. Thank you MyEyeDr in Parkville, Md. You guys are awesome!!!! I love you all!!! Thank you I was able to go back to MVA and renew my license today!! Thank you I appreciate you all!!!!
This place is hands down the best location around. The staff is fantastic—the nicest and most helpful people I’ve ever met. I always leave here satisfied. The manager is absolutely wonderful. I give it a 10 out of 10.
Horrible customer service, especially from a staff member named Donna. I’ve been to the Parkville location multiple times, and she is consistently unfriendly and never welcoming. At my most recent visit, I had a 12:15 appointment, arrived at 12:05, and waited until 12:50 without any apology or checked in to update me about the delay. The doctors and technicians are excellent, but my repeated experiences with Donna have left a sour impression. I will likely look for care at another location.
The staff here is very friendly and efficient. The wait wasn't very long. This is also a great place to get your (already owned) vintage frames filled.
