I gave this positive rating because first of all the wait time is very reasonable but most of all the young nurses who draw your blood are very cheerful and uplifting, always polite and respectful and equally important, they are eager to engage in lighthearted conversations, which we know takes the edge off of the task at hand. I mean who just loves a sharp metal spike being jammed into their vein to suck out your life fluid? Yeah they’re a good bunch and did I mention they really do a great job collecting my blood with little, if any, discomfort. Thanks for asking.

Chabert was OUTSTANDING! Truly LIFE SAVING! I have an auto-immune disorder that tries to kill me. Doctors do not understand it, and because of their lack of knowledge tend to treat me like shit when I go into the emergency room. Although you can visually see I am not some junky just there for drugs. You can also look up my medical history and see that I only go into the hospital as needed for this condition when I absolutely cannot manage it anymore at my home. Once it gets “hospital bad” it takes a certain pain medication to calm it down. I don’t ask for these problems. I would rather be healthy. Yet, when I go to most hospitals they want to treat me like i am a problem instead of treating the actual problem. BUT NOT CHABERT! R.N Blakely is AMAZING! Full up empathy and understanding. She works with efficiency! Truly a Super Hero and her Super Power is saving people. Ms. Erin and her make a good team! When TWO other hospitals failed me, with no care in the world, THEY STEPPED UP, LISTENED, AND HELP SAVE ME! R.N. Blakely, my daughter watched me screaming in the chronic painful condition for 16 hours. She stood over me constantly trying to help when those hospitals failed me. She called 911 when she thought she was losing me…..thank you for helping! Thank you for relieving my daughter from having to witness her mom in distress! Thank you for caring when I needed you to the most! I will always choose Chabert FIRST, for now on! They also got me in to see a Gastrologist in less than a week for a follow up!
I put two stars only so this can’t be deleted, but if I could put negative a million stars I would. I came to the ER after a terrifying episode where my throat suddenly closed and I was gasping for air immediately after eating. Doctor treating me was Trevor Marler. The experience left me feeling dismissed and honestly scared. Only a chest X-ray was done, and my symptoms were quickly labeled as anxiety. That conclusion seemed to be based on something in my chart from nearly 10 years ago, rather than my current symptoms and what I was actively experiencing. There was no real attempt to explore other possible causes, even though throat tightening and difficulty breathing after eating can point to serious airway or allergic issues. When you’re struggling to breathe and feel like something is wrong in your body, being told it’s “just anxiety” without a thorough evaluation is not only frustrating, it’s unsettling. It also felt rushed, as if the goal was to move quickly rather than fully understand what was happening to me. As a Black patient, this experience raised deeper concerns for me. There is a long-standing pattern of Black patients’ symptoms being minimized or dismissed in healthcare settings, and this interaction made it hard not to feel like that could have played a role. When serious symptoms are quickly attributed to anxiety without proper evaluation, it reinforces that fear that your concerns aren’t being taken as seriously as they should be. I left without answers, without reassurance, and now facing an ER bill for what felt like very limited care. I came in scared and left still scared, just with fewer explanations. I can only hope future patients in similar situations are listened to more carefully and given a more thorough and thoughtful evaluation.
Yes. While this hospital certainly has many shortcomings, at least there are still doctors here who possess some humanity and strive to offer you some relief for your problem—not all of them, perhaps, but some of the ones I encountered certainly did.
Had my knee done, blood test, went to doctors appointments ,even been in the emergency room couple times.Everyone was polite and informative and let you know what there doing and will answer any questions you might have about your visits
