The doctor was thorough, answered all of my questions, and made sure my contact lens prescription was the right fit. I never felt rushed, and everyone was friendly from start to finish. I only needed to replace one damaged lens from a pair of glasses I bought at its Flushing store. I told the staff I wanted to replace just that one lens. However, when I came back a week later, I discovered that they had replaced both lenses—including the one that wasn’t damaged. No wonder the cost was still so high even after using my insurance! When I asked why both lenses had been replaced, I was told that if insurance is used, they have to replace both lenses. That makes no sense to me, especially since no one explained this beforehand or asked for my approval. This was a very disappointing experience. I won’t be coming back to this store again. I was never told that both lenses would be replaced. The staff member simply checked my insurance, told me how much it would cost, and asked whether I wanted to replace the lens or buy a new pair of glasses. If I had known both lenses would be replaced, I would have made a different decision. I also wish you had provided me with a detailed receipt from the beginning, as it would have made everything much clearer and avoided this misunderstanding.

Checked out Luxeye in Little Neck after a friend recommended it, and it’s pretty solid! If you’re hunting for NYC glasses with top-notch clarity, their Zeiss lenses are amazing. Plus, they’ve got Chinese optometry services, which felt super thorough and professional. Definitely worth a visit if you care about your eyewear!
