Magruder Eye Institute

This place is not as busy as the main Magruder downtown. My experience great for me was not only the whole staff but Anthony at the front desk, they must have him traveling all over magruder locations, he really knows his stuff about insurance and billing and he informs everyone of how their insurance works for them. The staff at lake Nona are very efficient, they really try and Anthony really makes a great first impression at the front desk even if he has 10 people asking him questions at the same time he really does take the time with everyone.

I wish I could give negative stars. Worst place. Do not come here. You will wait for over an hour. They ridiculously over book. And the front staff has no knowledge. They don’t have anyone there to help. No one answers the phone. We went for my mom’s follow up due to having vision issues from a stroke. It’s 5 months later and they claim we have a balance due. We have no issue paying the balance BUT they wouldn’t tell us WHAT IT IS FOR!! No invoice!! Nothing showing what the insurance didn’t cover. We haven’t received any statements in the mail or letters from the insurance. I wanted to pay once we got a proper invoice. So then they refused our appointment ( after we had waited for over an hour!)!! There was no office manager or anyone from billing. They don’t know how to run a professional business. Everything is out sourced (with no one answering). Save yourself from this place!! They will steal your time and money! I can only imagine how many people they have scammed!

I went to the Lake Nona location in Orlando. 13630 Sachs Ave. I tell you my visit was easy and extremely pleasant. I was happy and glad I finally found the right Dr. and Eye Institution to do my procedure. I was extremely impressed with the staff. The vibes in this office are super friendly. Their professionalism was impressive. I will recommend anyone to the Magruder Eye Institute In Lake Nona. A very positive visit.

My ophthalmologist, Dr Udeh, is very knowledgeable, answers all my questions, very nice and sweet. Staff at Lake Nona are very helpful and approachable. They are very efficient. I like going there even if the clinic is very far from my house. Yes, definitely, I will recommend them to my family, relatives and friends.

Staff was kind and courteous and the Dr. was very professional, asked questions, very knowledgeable and caring . Wait times are a little bit longer then everyone wants but hey when you're dealing with a volume of patients like they do, it's to be expected. Everyone has a phone, play a game, watch a movie, read a book... You have that to occupy your mind, give the staff a break and stop bellyaching, your turn will come. I've been a patient their for years, and will continue to be one. Keep up the good work Magruder, you rock!
