I highly recommend Dr. Carandang and Eyespecs Vision Care. There was an error with my prescription, and Dr. Carandang worked with my ophthalmologist to correct - so I got my new glasses on time with no hassle. Most important, I love my glasses! Everyone is friendly and they will take wonderful care of you! The prices were good, too.
Dr. Mary and Al are the best! They are extremely courteous, knowledgeable, and helpful. Dr. Mary and Al are very understanding and accommodating to make every customer happy with their purchase. They are kind and considerate. This afternoon, while waiting in the office, I witnessed how reviewer "Ryan" and another lady barged in and tried to bully the office to try and get money back for glasses reviewer "Ryan" never purchased nor paid for. My understanding is that a mother purchased the glasses for her child and reviewer "Ryan" whom they never met not dealt with, shows up out of nowhere with another lady demanding money back for the glasses without the child's mother's knowledge. It is unbelievable that some people can show up out of nowhere and try to meddle in a transaction they've never been part of, without the knowledge of the person who paid for the purchase. It is sad that these people tried to take advantage of the kindness of Dr. Mary and I. If you can't find what you're looking for, I would highly recommend take your business somewhere else.

Had bad exprience few years back in this store , I was around the area and had a screw on my spec got loose and lost it , so went in if they could help , the woman who attended me was nice and respectful, she tried helping me and started to look in the drawers if any screw that can fit , but the a guys came out of the inner room , guessing he is the eye specialist not sure , started acting rudely , said that the screw will cost $10 but they couldnt find the screw , went few block down to 69st and found a glass shop they help me and said it was free , i told them the shop at 62st was asking for 10 bucks they smiled .
So glad I found Dr. Mary and Al! I have been going here for the past 4 years after having a not-great experience with Warby Parker. I wanted to find a place that would take the time and care to get to know me and my eyes, and I found that at Eyespecs Vision Care. Dr. Mary is very thorough with her eye exams and offers great advice and options, and Al is always there with a smile and patiently answers my insurance questions. I always order my contact lenses and glasses through them, and they also have a very fashionable selection of frames in both of their locations. Super responsive and communicative, as well as very nice people, I can't recommend this place enough.
