Been going to Dr. Chavez since I moved here 4.5 years ago and I'm a very happy patient. I've been wearing glasses and contacts for over 40+ years and have been very pleased with her services and expertise. The staff are always helpful and friendly and the office, MezMerEyes Optical , offers a broad selection of quality eyewear and orders are turned around quickly. I highly recommend.
Very happy with the services here. I brought my 5 year old here a few months ago and was impressed with how she was taken care of by the staff and Dr Chavez. After her visit, I decided to schedule appointments for me and my husband. Even with how impressed I was at my daughters appointment, I have been with my previous provider for over 10 years so, it goes without saying I was a little uneasy about seeing a new doctor. Those worries were for naught. Everyone was wonderful. I will definitely be back next year, as will my husband.
Dr. Chavez was very rude and disrespectful during my appointment. At the beginning of the visit, I briefly used my phone to send my son a picture of the office location so he could find me. Immediately, Dr. Chavez began scolding me and told me to get off my phone. She spoke to me in a very condescending tone and asked, “Does he not have the address?” When I explained that he did not, she abruptly left the room and instructed the front desk to call him. She then said, “Didn’t you read the sign? It says no phones!” Unfortunately, I did not see the sign—which is part of the reason I was there for an eye appointment in the first place. The office staff was very kind and professional, and I appreciate their friendliness. However, Dr. Chavez’s bedside manner was disappointing. Patients deserve to be treated with respect and kindness, and I left feeling talked down to rather than cared for. Because of this experience, I will not be returning to this practice.
Dr Chavez was LESS than friendly! She had no personality and would not acknowledge or answer my questions. She rushed me in and out. Her staff had zero personality. They all seem really really unhappy with life! My fiancé that never mentions anything commented how unfriendly they all were. I still have unanswered questions.
I always feel right at home in their office. With my appointment, there no wait, lots of help with glass selection, and just kindness all around. Not to mention the adorable location with lots to do just steps away! The teahouse is my favorite spot after my eye visit. 😊💛🙌🏼
